Carb tuning problems with new banshee

Recommended Posts

I recently purchased a 2001 Yamaha banshee and can’t get the thing running perfect. I’ve got fmf pipes on it, v-force 3 reeds, air box lid removed, a moss performance head and the air box lid removed. The current main jet is 330 with a pilot of 25 and the needle clip is on the top position. It just seems to be running rich on bottom end. Maybe up to 1/4 throttle. The air mixture screw is stripped so will not back out any more than about 2 turns and if it is in any more than that the idle will be super high and throttle sometimes gets stuck. I’m lost and have tried everything I can think of short of changing pilot jet but I though 25 was stock pilot?  And I am running 50-1 ams oil synthetic.
