Banshee spark plug locks

Recommended Posts

What fuel are you running that is 130 octane? If it is avgas the RM/2 is actually somewhere around 105. Also, the Trinity head that came on my motor kept backing plugs out, but the driveline cut domes in a regular cool head does not.

Take 2 boxes end wrenches, cut them and weld them together at 102mm c2c and problem solved. But, buy a new crank and pistons now cause as soon as you install plug locks the fuckers gonna melt!! YOUR MOTOR IS NOT HAPPY IF ITS BACKING OUT PLUGS! Trinity are the only idiots in the world that would suggest plug locks, but they kept harry in business for awhile...

This has summed up what i've read so far in this thread. I've had plugs back out and i kept tightening them up. I then had to get my cylinders bored, new top end, domes etc. I learned the hard way.
