Jessy Posted June 15, 2016 Report Share Posted June 15, 2016 Hi I've recently had my 492 cheetah replated/new Pistons (73.5mm), I went with 0.10mm clearance and it rattles like hell. I measured the Pistons and they are around .4mm larger at the top to the bottom, currently running Wiscos. The rattle is that bad it feels little the skirts are about to break. Jessy Posted June 16, 2016 Author Report Share Posted June 16, 2016 They are new pistons, clearance on the box was 0.10mm, clearance at the bottom of the skirt is 0.10mm at the top of the stroke nearly 0.5mm due to the piston taper?????
