Change your plan. How? The fight starts standing in the 2nd, and she was already mentally beat. So if she couldnt get her down and grapple in the 1st, what makes you think she could in the 2nd?

She had the right game plan. Strike your way into a clinch and get her down and submit her. DIDNT WORK now what?

Ill disagree Corgster, That is Rondas game, she isnt technical ebough to stay to patient and olay the counter striker. You cant be patient against a style like HH, she will piece you up slowly. If you rush at her she will piece you up faster. RR tried multiple times to go to the ground, she grabbed HH several times to just get stuffed or shrugged off. When she finally got in a hip toss position HH defended it very well, and they hit the mat. Then RR rolls for an armbar, but HH just smashes it down and pulls her arm out of danger and stands up. Then later they clinch full on. And HH takes RR down. Then she stands back up and procedes to piece her up.

So where in there did RR try to stand up with her on purpose? Every fight starts standing. RR has to punch her way in for a throw or takedown like always. But it wasnt gonna happen. HH was to prepared and to strong.

The first minute RR was patient and she got blasted. Then She tried to rush and got blasted. She clinched and couldnt do anything. She got it to the floor and couldnt do anything.

You're delusional

If RR stays really patient next time. It will be worse, cause it will be a longer drawn out beat down.

Classic striker vs grappler. Do your homework son!

I dont agree. we ddint see the fight the same way, sorry.

Rousey was literaly running after Holm, man just look at fucking fight lol!! She was not even trying to cut corners etc, no way, just STRAIGHT runing at her.

Holm used his reach, footwork and angles. Worked perfectly against someeone who was thinking he could strike with a striker and run after him.

If you didnt see that the arm bar was actualy not that far to be locked, you need a clue or two about grappling too. holm defended it well.

Rousey didnt tried that munch to go to the ground, in the first few clinchs, she was trying to setup strike, not throws. She tried later, but she was already done.

Those are the odds of her fights...Dont try to be a smart ass trying to tell me that you KNOW that Holm would win. About everyone involved in mma was pretty sure that Rousey shold win. But that's the beauty of the sport!!!

Lots of ways to change a game plan, feints to set up a clinch, try a take down, STOP trying to rush her and let her come at you...etc.  What I couldnt believe was the advice of her corner and lack of a game plan after the 1st.  The worst advice was no advice.

Dude thats the problem she dont have any other game plan, she has no feints, head movement, timing, counters etc..... She did her best trying to figure it out. All ronda knows is overwhelming people. She started getting pieced up before she knew what was going on. She was confused as was her corner.

She a high level fighter that got destroyed. And she will get destroyed worse the 2nd time. Ronda is not a patient, movement, timing, counter type fighter.

HH has the style and ability to nullify anything Ronda will ever do

Dude I know she didnt have any other game plan, thats what im saying.

BUT there is no way a fighter at her level doesnt know the basics of counter punching, feints, wrestling etc.  And I understand she has won all her fights by using the same style.  I just cant believe there were no adjustments to her game after the 1st thats all.

Your right, but what level is she? Obviously not where she needs to be. Lets be honest here, most thought Ronda was gonna strike her way in. Overwhelm her and throw her and submit. So did her and her team.

They apparently never train other gameplans, why? Shes been DESTROYING people. Along with her natural style of fight. She is not the athletic type movement style counter striker/grappler. She will never be what your saying.

Coaching 101 know the talent and abilities of your fighters and enhance them. Try and show her new tricks but the coach and fighter have a style that has been winning very impressively. Your not thinking realistically
