With white you cant see half of the damage done and looks to come out great. You do it to black it shows everything. If you get a real automotive buffer. I can see that working best. OutlawPat Posted July 27, 2014 Report Share Posted July 27, 2014 When I got mine the plastic was all oxidized. I used a little trick I learned from playin around with old Yamaha threewheelers. Just take a razor blade and scrape it on the plastic. But don't put too much pressure on. Once you scrape enough it'll look brand new. It takes a while but it works amazing. The rear fenders of mine were very dirty, I wet the fenders and put Comet powder on it (you can get it at the dollar store) and rubbed it in with an SOS pad and they look beautiful.
