Drag chassis for sale

Recommended Posts

The chassis had an 82" wheel base. +9 in the rear and +24 in the front. It's a cpcustoms 3/4 super light chassis. The whole chassis is made of 3/4 chromoly except the engine cradle. The engine cradle is 7/8 chromoly. The bike has been 3.8's at Planetsand with a 4mm cheetah.

For sale with the chassis is the frame, torch works radiator, steering, tie rods, and wheelie bar.

Asking $2000 for everything.

I run a lot of asphalt and only brought this bike to he track one time. I put a 17-40 on it and when I made a pass I ran out of gear at the 450-500 mark because I forgot I had a 1-5 in the bike. My asphalt bikes all have 1-6's in them and I didn't even think about not having the right Trans in it for the 1/8. That being said it still went a 6.4 at 75-80 mph. I just backed off the throttle and maintained rpm to cross the line. The 60' time was in the 1.38 area. So yes it can be used for 1/8 mile. The bike tracked straight, but that was the only pass I've ever made on the chassis in the 1/8.

The motor that's in it dynoed 125hp if that helps comparing to your motor.

Only reason I selling it is to build a dune chassis. Most of the dirt/sand tracks with in a 2 hour radius closed and I don't want to drive further then that for a night race. I have two asphalts with in 30 minutes and the dunes are 2 hours away. So just changing up chassis setups for what I'm riding these days.
