Not sure race ready is the term most people would use to describe Athena cylinders out of the box. I think there's prob a few builders out there that have had good luck porting them. Still not a cub but usable. You'll need to have one look at them any to see if the porting is adaptable to a 4mill. Not gonna wanna just throw a crank in it and let er rip. bad shit will happen real quick.

Post some pics of this beast. Is money an issue? That cylinder, porting or lack of, and the stock carbs are going to hold you back. Somebody will pipe up here shortly and tell you that you can make 80 horse on stock carbs. Which is prob true. Be easier with something bigger though. And a bit easier to jet. You need to know what exactly you have to work with now so you know which direction to go. Has the crank been trued and welded? Clutch? Stock? Lockup? What kind if riding you say you were doing? What kinda tires you running? Swing arm length? Are ya a big guy? What about cooling mods? It gets hot over there in the sand box don't it? Lots can be done prob. Don't know if easy is going to be an option for ya though.
