AdrenalineJunky
Are those automotive temp. gauges? How are you guys hooking them up? Any pics? I'd like to hook up an Autometer gauge on my Shee.
jbooker82
Mine was just an automotive mechanical one. It didnt last real long. The vibration tore it up. I would get a 2 5/8 in mechanical liquid filled gauge. It will last much longer.

AdrenalineJunky
Got any pics of how you did your connections and such? I know on a car the end just threads into the intake so how do you make it work on the shee? Also is it possible to make the light work? Can you tie the hot wire into the headlights? AdrenalineJunky
So would an Autometer temp probe thread into that adapter? I want a custom look that's why I would rather go that route then a Trail Tech.

The only problem with an electric autometer guage is that they are made to run on 12 volts dc, not ac. The blue one is for a mechanical water temp gauges. If you get a mechanical one get one that is liquid filled. Other wise the vibration will tear it appart. I went through 3 non liquid filled gauges. Non of them were autometers but you could just see the needle vibrating. Autometer's liquid filled gauges are only avalable in 2 5/8 in, and in 1 series. You cant get the cool cobalt or nv's in a liquid filled gauge.
