Best way to cut/trim plastics

Recommended Posts

I used a pair of orange handled aviation snips. The ones with 2 to 2 1/2" blades tape of with masking tape first so you make lines without writing on plastics. Take a little at a time until you get were you want to be and as long as you cut straight no sanding required.

mask off your lines and cut them with a jigsaw- fine blade! overshoot the line by a 1/8'' when its all cut use a d,a or orbital sander to clean up the edges! if you start with 80 grit and go to 220, 320, 400 when you finnaly get to the tape line block sand with 600! and it will look factory. HAVE FUN B PATIENT!
