  1. Lol, GRR pipes? Ive never heard of those was thinking of making a switch to CPIS if i could get my hands on some but not sure if the difference would be much. I feel like my Old SSTs would outrun these T5s
  2. Hello all, looking for ideas on what to do next for power increase on my set up. My issue seems to be i have decent bottom end off a good launch, lacks mid range, and then solid top end. Like to drag and dune not a ton of trails but here is what's done so far... Toomey T-5s +4 timing Vforce 4 reeds Ported by flannery motorsports Chariot cool head 21cc domes Pod air filters Stock carbs 300 mains 27.5 pilots (~900' above sea level) 15/42 sprockets ( probably going to 14/42) +2 sing arm +2 + 1 alba a arms Yfz 450 front shocks Let me know what you think
  3. Little late to the party but another reason your clutch arm may not line up with your arrow on the case is that the arm can wear out some from making contact with the rod. The arm doesnt necessarily have to line up with the arrow in order for your clutch to be adjusted properly at least in my case but i have the pancake bearing.
  4. Looking to try out the CPI in frames. Not too impressed with the T5s. I bought the T5s brand new last year still very clean if anyone wants to trade.

  7. Hey guys I have a 99 banshee (not ported) that I am currently running FMF SSTs on which I like a lot performance wise but are old and am thinking of replacing. I mostly trail ride but occasionally dune and drag for fun. I really like the looks and sound of Toomey's. How do Toomey's or other compare to the SSTs?
  8. Hey guys, I have a 99 banshee (yfz 450 front shocks, +2 +1 alba a arms, stock rear shock) that I mostly trail ride with and it does not handle to what I think it should. I've never ridden a banshee with elkas or any high class suspension like that for comparison but I cant go very fast through a bumpy field without losing ability to shift because im bouncing around so bad. Is getting them revalved going to make a big difference? If so where's a good place to have them done?
  9. Hi guys looking for info because i am at a loss. My banshee was running great one day then the next it runs like sh*t Symptoms: Will not idle, basically running on one cylinder but switches back and forth on which cylinder it wants to run on. No power what so ever until very high rpm both cylinders come together. Let out of throttle it will stall. What I have checked: compression good 135psi, has good blue spark both sides, flywheel and key look good in place. stator ohms are within spec. Replaced cdi box with used oem, carbs have been cleaned and gone through and is getting good fuel. Replaced ignition coil, wires caps. Wiring harness looks good have not gone through that yet. Reeds look good they are not broken or bent. Nothing I have done has made a difference. Could it be something with the kill switch? I'm out of ideas if anyone has something to say I'm all ears. Thanks
  10. Diagnosed a bad stator on my banshee. Was wondering if there was any other good stator options other than OEM. Please let me know your thoughts thanks.
  11. Hey guys, just got a set of yfz 450 shocks and did the modifications to get them to fit. My question is what can I do to get my suspension set up best for me? I just got them and bolted them on I'm not sure how to adjust them properly.( Im 180lbs) and what does revalving the shocks do? Is that something I could do myself? Also thinking about getting +2+1 a arms should I get those before adjusting shocks? Thanks for any Info
  12. Looking for a set of yfz 450 shocks to put on my banshee. Only place I can find them is ebay and they are all for around $400. Is that a reasonable price? Seems high to me for used shocks lol
  13. Wondering how to make my banshee handle a little better in the trails. I'm thinking I'm going to need +2+1 a arms a +2 rear axel and front shocks? Any recommendations on what a good setup would be. What brands are the best for the money Or whats the best way to go without hitting the bank too hard?
