  1. Ya ive tried all air screw positions. Nothing seems to work. Could i be really rich and thats why its bogging. Idk how that works, but i wouldent think that you could be dumping so much fuel though the pilot jet to make a rich bog, but then I also don't see why i would need to go up to a 32.5 pilot if I am still lean. Do people use 32.5’s or is that uncommon?
  2. And when I say it bogs it BOGS, I cant even go up a hill unless im already in the power band, the banshee will die if I am not in power band.
  3. Stock bore, vf3 reeds, 20cc domes at 170psi, pod filters no airbox, +4 timing, stock carbs, i have a port but don't know what kind and it doesn't look to aggressive, 1900 ft elevation, and Toomey t5 pipes. I am running 30 pilots and it still feels a little lean. It revs fine in neutral, but bogs hard when taking off unless you are balls to the wall. Ive tried all needle positions, 25 and 30 pilots, 280, 300, 320, and 340 mains. I cant seem to figure anything out. Carbs are completely cleaned and synced and I have no air leak. I rebuilt the whole motor because of this problem and it still was not fixed. I have 800 into a new motor and want to ride so plz help. thanks
  4. Its stock stroke and t5’s. And i only drop half a psi in 6 min. Is it possible i have that small of a airleak and its causing that many problems.
  5. Hot rods crank with 65 mm weisco pistons with a simple transfer port port job 20 cc domes v force 3 reeds and pod filters stock carbs
  6. So unless you hit a hill going 20 mph at least your not going to make it up. If tou start slow at a hill it will bog out and die no matter what throttle you give.
  7. 2000 ft and its 20 right now but summers are 80. And just to explain again the mid range and top end hits power band and runs as should its only right off idle when you give it throttle when it bogs. It makes it impossible to ride hills because at that low rpm there is 0 horsepower.
  8. Ya carbs are completely clean ive literally cleaned them probobly 10 times. I took out the main jet tube, pilots, air jet, neddle and seat, everything. And turning my air screws out makes me more lean and my idle revs out to limiter. Or it will hang really bad. I feel like me going to 32.5 on a mostly stock motor is way to much but thats what it wants idk.
  9. My screws are 1/2 turn out. Which is to far but i dont know if that would create a big bog. I ordered 32.5s and they should be here tomorrow. And i had no leaks when i did the leak down.
  10. Here is my problem I am having trouble with low end power. It bogs as soon as you take off. It is impossible to wheelie even with pulling as hard as you can, but if it just sits there and idles it is fine. When you rev it, it feels smooth and comes right back down perfectly. It is only when you crack the throttle. The mid range and top end is fine it runs good. Once I noticed this I did so much LITERALLY 200 hours of trial and error. Nothing worked so I rebuilt the entire motor. Hot Rods crank, new pistons, everything, I mean everything. 800 dollars later I fired up the new engine and it did the same thing. Bogs off idle. I feel like it would have to be carburation at this point. But I have tried all jets and needle positions and nothing works. My new motor has 150 psi in both cylinders and no leaks (with tester). Carbs are spotless I'm running 30 pilots and 340 mains on the third clip. 30 might sound big but thats what the bike likes at idle. Please comment with any suggestions. Thank you.
