  1. Serial numbers engraved on axles are the same but it looks like some sort of date code or something seems to be different I don't know I will wait till early spring and send this old b**** in warranty from my new one haha see if it happens Sent from my XT1526 using Tapatalk
  2. Out with the old In with the new one Sent from my XT1526 using Tapatalk
  3. Yeah yeah about 20 years ago I bent everything on my 250R durablue Lonestar old-school nasaa axles didn't matter I just bought another one another Tusk through Rocky Mountain for 200 I Will Wait a month and then warranty my other one through them haha I'll show them f******
  4. Well now I'm at a standstill this axle was on the Banshee when I bought it I don't know how to get ahold of Tusk their website only has a link going to Rocky Mountain ATV or to become a dealer I called Rocky Mountain ATV they said they can't do anything for me since I didn't purchase it through them now what anybody else have this experience with a Tusk axle Sent from my XT1526 using Tapatalk
  5. I have found the Tusk locked nut system to be very good never comes loose like all the others I had one on my 400EX and it never came loose this one has not come loose in almost two years on the band sheet that I have had it top notch Sent from my XT1526 using Tapatalk
  6. Yeah I will try calling them tomorrow but I'm having trouble finding contact information I Google searched Tusk ATV and their website pretty much has he linked to Rocky Mountain or become a dealer so I don't know what to do here I suppose it wouldn't be the end of the world not to have a new axle by next weekend it sure would be nice though to save $200 Sent from my XT1526 using Tapatalk
  7. Cost isn't an issue. This is a flat tack only quad so it won't be beat on, unless I hit the same ice heave. I really need the axle by this Friday so I can race on Saurday. Will probably buy another Tusk and sent in the bent one for warranty. That way I'll have a back up. I will definately look into the RPM axle for my trail/moto quad.
  8. Bent mu axle last night, hit an ice heave on a booze cruize. Its a Tusk that was on the Banshee when I bought it. I need a new axle by next weekend to ride. A new Tusk is 190 to my door. I see a Vitos +2 for 160 to my door. Will be flattracked mostly. Will my existing Tusk axle lock nut work on the Vitos axle? I don't have the stock nuts and stuff. The +2 will fit my needs, I'm not usint all the Tusk spacers. Is the Vitos any good? I know the Tusk has a warranty, buy I have to look into it, and would not have a replacement by the weekend.
  9. Clean the area on the flywheel that will be welded with a flap wheel, same for the puller. Take it to a local muffler shop or machine type shop. They should be able to weld that for you in a minute if you have the prep work done. If ya can find a place local, that would be much easier and cleaner than cutting it off.
  10. Tat flywheel looks to be bent badly from someone using a jaw type puller, and it seems it didn't work. You need some one with a better welder to weld the puller onto the flywheel.
  11. Thanks, I need the filter only. I was spelling flow wrong when I searched, pfft.
