  1. Last i knew Herjuggs has used cheap cylinders to port with good results
  2. https://www.bansheehq.com/gearing.php With the 18" tires you probably want to run a 16 front sprocket.
  3. Yeah, with the Keihin PJ carbs you have to be careful not to adjust the idle adjustment when using the choke. Make sure both are turned out the same. That may fix your idle as long as the pilot is correct. I'm curious if adjusting the main jet will fix your problem. If you aren't spinning, and your builder knew what they were doing, you shouldn't be slower than before. So probably just main jet.
  4. You probably had an air leak. You'll for sure want to pressure test it before running it. If it were me, id go ahead and replace crank seals and intake boots.
  5. Are you spinning through the gears? Bogging? Need more info. Pj carbs? Jetting? Why are you losing ground to the 450s? What did the builder say when you asked them?
  6. What caused your previous setup to fail?
  7. Just to clarify, stroke is how far up and down in the hole. Bore is how big the hole. But yeah, i agree with above, get it ported, or ported for a +4 stroke. Talk to a builder.
  8. Make a left handed tap with your machining skillz
  9. You’ll probably want to buy jets between 40 and 50 pilot, and 140 and 165 main. CEL needles. Start at 45 pilot and get that dialed in first, then start at 165 main and work down. Read this. It will tell you how to know how to jet. https://www.duncanracing.com/s/KeihinCarbJetting-2015.pdf Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  10. Yeah, those are pwk 35mm. Should work fine with your 4 mil. I'd run 'em.
  11. Post a picture of the serial number. I bet it's a 35mm Also, what # slide are in those. Should be a 6.
  12. That is NOT an airstryker. It is missing the fins in the intake, doesn't appear to have a cut away in the atomizer, and it is not a quad vent.
  13. 40:1 is a good choice as far as oil ratio goes for modern oils. But everyone has their opinion.
  14. Run pump gas. No reason for anything else on that setup. Easiest way to find out what domes you have is to take the head off. I guessing 23 or 24 cc domes. Faster can mean several things. I'll assume you mean a higher top speed. Top speed is affected by gearing, tire size, rpm.
  15. Larger front and/or smaller rear- higher top speed, less acceleration Smaller front and/or larger rear - lower top speed, more acceleration There should be a gearing calculator in the technical information area
  16. I’m with Gusto, whatever your friends have, you need to get something that’ll one up them.
  17. I used to. But then I needed space for a battery and replaced the reservoir with a battery. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  18. I can't tell what you are trying to show from the picture. There should be crosshatching on the cylinder walls.
  19. Any of the site sponsors can hook you up with known good parts. Where do you live? Call a site sponsor near you and have them bore your cylinders and provide you with the parts that you need. There is zero reason to buy chinese cylinders off ebay.
  20. Since Deets can't do math, thats 50:1.
  21. Its leaking from the short J tube between the intakes? You might check your clamps or inspect the hose. The coolant intake on the head is bolted on with 2 bolts and there is a gasket between it and the head. Verify the bolts are tight and if still leaking, replace the gasket.
