  1. Slides are synced and set properly with the sync tool. Just waiting for work to finally give me a day off to start doing chops.
  2. If I ride easier through the woods then lay in it, it will cut out for a brief second then take off. And if im a gear high and give it wot it will cut up a few times then smoothly go into the power band. I ordered a bunch of plugs and a bit to do plug chops. I heard that the cut up is something air strikers are known for. Im just trying to make it work before I go out and buy new carbs.
  3. You ever figure out your jetting? There's no one really around me to help with the banshee as no one really has them around me. Let alone build one. Now im running 152 mains, 50 pilot 2 turns out with cel middle clip. Runs good but feel like it could be better. I have 35mm air strikers which is why our jetting different. I was unaware they were air strikers when I bought them. Its also very hard to cold start.
  4. So I'm building my 421 serval this weekend. Curious if anyone could tell me if I should be close with jetting. Dont want to damage a new motor. I have a 421 serval, shearer small bore inframes, 35 pwk, vf4 reeds, +4 timing, 23cc domes running 110 octane. I ride about 60-80 degrees at 1300ft. I was thinking 155 mains with 48 pilots and cel needle middle clip. Any info would be great.
  5. I also have a 300 main jet, 27.5 pilot and needles are 4th from top. I run vp 94 octane premixed 40:1. Br8es spark plugs gapped .030. Haven't checked my timing to see if it was advanced or not. Is my needle on the wrong clip? Do I need a hotter spark? Stronger coil? Pilots to big? I know there are a lot of possibilities but it's been like this for over 2 years and it gets old having to bump start it before every ride. Thanks guys!
  6. Hello I have a 2000 Yamaha banshee. Ever since I got it, I couldn't start it (while engine cold) using the kick starter. I always have to bump it. I rode yesterday and when I went to start it today using the Kick starter it doesn't even sound like it wants to start. I push it down my drive way and pop the clutch in gear and pull the choke out a bit (choke won't stay out) and it fires right up everytime. I have spark, I have good compression (just rebuilt it back in August) I leak fuel from my carbs if I turn the gas on and kick it over 2 or 3 times. I ordered a jet kit specific to my bike from 6sigma. It runs great when it's warmed up! But a cold start, kick starting it is virtually impossible. Any info or opinions would help. Thanks!
