  1. Got the a - arm.....nobody have any OEM grilles for sale? Silver or black?
  2. Looking for an oem silver or black grille, NO VITOs . Also looking for right side (brake side) upper and lower silver a-arms and spindle please. All for an 06 banshee. Thanks much!
  3. Thanks all. I just looked at the diagram to make sure I got exact placement when I reinstall the tank.....thanks again.
  4. Here are the replacement dowels I bought...the ends are tapered
  5. I recently rebuilt the top end and after I took off the head and cylinders I noticed these on the garage. They aren't the dowels for the head studs because I ordered all 4 new for those and the old ones were still on the studs. These don't even fit over the head bolts. Any clue? I checked all the microfiche and manuals and only thing close is the 4 dowels.
  6. Ok...filed both sides down and idle screw moves the slides now. Now I just have to fine tune so both idle screws are the same and make sure my air screws are adjusted properly. Need to get that rpm range dialed in too. Sigghhh...almost there.
  7. Thanks for everyones help! I checked the slide cutouts - they are facing air filter side- checked bb on carb bowl - that was correct- The bad- it appeara that when i screw the idle screw all the way in it doesnt hardly move rhe slide. When i took the nut off and screwed in just the screw i could see the slide adjust so i need to trim more it appears!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
  8. No as soon as it started I had to feather throttle to keep it running. I then tried to adjust the idle screws but something is still wrong.
  9. thanks for picture ...I will double check the carb bowl.
  10. hey dave5.0 ...how much of the idle screw should I see. I checked that prior to install and noticed that very little of the idle screw came through but you could see it.
  11. where will the "bb" be listed ? I should've checked since ...I just assumed the bowls were right but not sure now. Second guessing ....I'll have to check in the am.
  12. Good point, I will check that and the pilot jets. I did clean both carbs out real good before transitioning to the tors removal. cleaned all the jets, bowls, and needles etc when installing.
  13. I am running into the same situation except I am bone stock. I found out my tors idle screws were broke and then after tearing apart someone cut the TORs cable to the throttle. Anyway, I have fresh gaskets and top end with tors removal. Made sure slides were in correctly, choke tube in, jets and needle set for elevation and still having issues. I am working from another thread and getting some great feedback. If I stumble on something I'll be sure to post for you.
  14. BTW...isn't there a difference on the slides too though that one is on the choke side and one is on the right side? I confirmed the cutouts are facing filter side.
  15. Thanks hoppedupandcutdown - great post. Im going to add that image to my library so I don't forget....I did go back and verify and they are in correct. I did manage to get it started with WOT....wondering if I need the slides/throttle cable adjusted.....can't get this tuned in ...
