  1. Sounds to me like you have an air pocket in your coolant system.....with the cap off pick up the front end and you will hear it burp.. add a little coolant and rip it!
  2. Check the brass spacer in basket....many times it gets stuck not allowing the clutch to disengage.
  3. I have some , Ill send you a pm with pics and price.
  4. I had a similar issue recently and found that the bronze bushing on the Clutch center shaft was "Stuck" on the shaft. This doesn't allow proper throw for clutch to disengage. Check it out...may be your culprit.
  5. buy new one.......Only buy OEM but like 110 bucks...
  6. I think I still have a set of front durablue lowering links that I tore off a bike. (I don't like them but someone does) They use same shock distance just move bolt hole higher. Pm if interested. Fuck a ratchet strap...... quickest way to visit your local ER
  7. Also Captain Obvious would say pickup gap.....but no fire on both cyl or minimal if out of adjustment.
  8. My scenario was a bad CDI that would work intermittently. No spark then great spark etc.... If you have a buddy whos got one that you know is good slap it on and see if it improves. There is a Detroit company selling a electronic ignition setup that we are messing with (not a PVL)...stay tuned (only for drag currently)
  9. There are shops out there that will strip/refinish with clear. We have a guy come to our shop with a mobile unit. Check with local body shops may be able to get re-finished fairly reasonable.
  10. Ok some feedback....put on cheap pickup fri night fired 1st kick idled fine runs good.Made one good pass and started breaking up. Thought it was lean so fattened everything up ..same result wot all track breaking up. You can ride and clean it out fine but line up pin it and break up. Anyone got a good oem pickup I can get. Hoping someone has a junk stator with good pickup. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. SO this is from 2 years ago but PIA to find VF2 replacement pedals. Also vaguely remember someone making TSS alum or metal ones for use with Alchy that would not eat them up. Cant remember who ...CALLING OG's
  12. My oem stator still good just the pickup broke..I have replaced before on other bikes but with oem pickups off shit stators. Couldn’t find any so had to try something else. I’ll scavenge at the track...someone will have something if what I get won’t work. Just never fun pulling that shit off at the track. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I have three coming my way and a three day race in a week. Gonna bring all plus own to the track in case I get misfires...thanks for the input gusto. I’ll let everyone know my feedback as not the first pickup replacement in our banshee world
  14. Lost spark, pulled cover off noticed the Pickup screw loosened (did not fall out) enough to let the pickup cover hit the Flywheel broke off the corner of what appears to be a cover. Put cover back on re tightened, re spaced, fired up. Question lies more around the plastic cover its there for a reason.....want to replace but all I found was non OEM. Are aftermarket all shit (like most elect) or doesn't the pulse/ pickup really matter?
  15. Depends on your particular setup......Asphalt or sand.....300 ft or 200ft etc..
  16. We will keep our eyes posted over here....dumb asses will end up showing up at our track with it. Heard we had one stolen by us as well.
  17. or if you can find one 90DRR are pretty good. For kids machines - durability the biggest factor our 90 had been run into trees, flipped over, jumped off things it shouldn't and still ran like a champ.... A few welds and a zip tie or two - good to go. NOTE: if 2 stroke - mix your own oil/gas (don't count on the separate pump/tank)
  18. Welcome Inked ... youll learn some things you need to know and many more things you wish you didn't know

I have some spacers left in a box for a durablue if you need them......Small and large.
  20. Looks normal to me but you need to make sure while tightening that all arms can move freely. I have seen some get "stuck" while installing as spring pressure not even back off re install insuring all move.
