  1. Nah I just got in contact with him he’s had some personal issues going on.

I’ve been trying to get ahold of Kenny Roberts for about a week, I need a set of hand coned exhaust for my build, I spoke to him in the past for the build now since I have everything I’m ready for him. Has anybody spoken to him recently.i usually hear from him a day or two later but like I said it’s been almost over a week with a text and calls but I haven’t been able to get a hold of him.
  3. I was really going to do so, but I just want honest feedback on both setups before I make up my mind.
  4. Na not really love the sport and these quads to much.i just want honest reviews and what’s better than the guys that tried every setup in the book and there opinions are just facts they’ve done there share of r&d.
  5. In a week or two ima start ordering the 421 driveline kit or sending out my stock cylinders to get ported and bored, what would you guys do honestly.

I’m honestly waiting and seeing opinions I’m still very interested in your kit every time I call your customer service and quality parts are superb.have any numbers of hp and torque with your 421 Lp kit with dune porting and And boost ports added. Like I said I’m on the fence of doing either setup I just know I wanna build a 4 mil.

Not to do a pissing contest, Did anybody see that here jugs racing on YouTube said he Feels he can get more power out of stock ported cylinders than the 421 driveline cylinder kit.He said there not much he feels he can take away from the cylinders But he’s gonna do his magic .soon he’s gonna post a video about it can’t wait to see it.honestly that video is gonna make up my mind for sure on what direction I go. I was really into ordering the driveline kit,until I saw the video and then I thought about just boring and sending my stock cylinder to get ported from cam at redline.
  9. If you rebuild it just keep you know what you have into it if you decided to get rid of it as is let me know I’ll buy it blown.
  10. It’s worth rebuild it.these bikes are on the rise price wise.i know they held value but recently. I can’t lie, prices have been going up.i honestly got my 88 that I bought running with a title ,so cheap that some times, I think About it and I got it for free.it blew not to long ago but I’ll just rebuild It.which I’m in the process of doing so. Im just gonna build me a nice shee since I got it so cheap.

You could do all the tricks of the trade paint promoter for plastic like bulldog and it will still cracking bend chip it will look good till it starts doing all the above.your best bet if you don’t wanna use the yellow Plastics is sell them and buy The color you want or find some one to trade but I would paint them it never holds up.
  12. Like banshee sand rider said if you gotta think about it you should sell it seems like you don’t have much interest to ride at the moment.
  13. Mind did that one time but it was cause the carbs came out of sync.
  14. The boost ports seem like a good idea I might tell bill or lane that I want a set of boost ports If they tell me there advice on the setup and get some porting done on the cylinders when I order mine but I think ima stay 68mm bore.
  15. Why do you feel I should have lane do a 70mm Bore for the cylinder and boost ports? You think it would improve on the driveline cylinders with the boost ports added?

I was looking at the wampus because there cheaper than cub cylinders I’ve seen both because I have neighbors that have both and and the cub is a full drag 10 mil and the wampus Is a 4 mil 421 used for all type of riding.i was looking at the driveline because I have a few parts and I know there product are good and I’ve heard good reviews on there kit.I just want personal review on drivelines power and pros and cons.like I said I told lane I’ll be going 421 4mil with 35mm carbs and driveline billet head and domes and some hand coned exhaust from Kenny and he honestly said you can’t go wrong with either cylinder he offers.but I wanted to know more about his cranks aswell, how do they hold up?
  17. What are your opinions which cylinders would you guys use between 4 mil stock cyl,driveline or Wampus ?what are the pros and cons on either setup?
  18. Lol hell no, I can’t lie I wish I can afford a billet crank from crankworks but I can’t afford a billet crank Let alone one from crankworks.

I’m going 4 mil on my new build.driveline cylinder,4 mil stock ,or wampus.I’ve been really been leaning towards driveline‘s cylinders and crank, with the most expensive 4 mil crank driveline offers. spoke to lane he recommended that crank rather than a Hotrod crank or one of his cheaper version he offers.I was gonna go stock cylinder but I need to bore and port my cylinders the difference in cost for prepping the stock cylinders to get ported,bored From cam at redline and order pistons is not much of less expensive than just going driveline cylinders. my neighbor has a wampus 421 setup and the banshee runs awesome and he suggested it to me since he’s only had good experiences with the setup.what are the differences of all three setups in performace and reliability.i do ride trails at a fast pace but I do ride open fields and occasionally l would drag race a few buddies.im also going with 33-35mm carbs ,driveline billet cool head ,some hand cone inframe pipes from Kenny Roberts.I might aswell go all out since I got the quad so cheap.What do you guys think would be a better setup for me the driveline lp or hp cylinders,wampus,or stock cyl setup.I would appreciate all the insight and info you guys can offer.like I said I’m leaning toward the driveline kit, I cant go wrong with the price unless you guys tell me otherwise and lead me towards another suggestions.
