  1. Stock carbs? Check the o ring on choke. Maybe it's just not bringing the choke circuit in. I'm assuming it runs fine after it does start?? Sent from my SCH-R970 using Tapatalk
  2. Unhook fuel line from tee and turn gas on. Run out? Slides in right carbs? Is the rubber hose between carbs hooked up? The choke hose that connects each carb to each other about 3 or 4 inches long. Loosen the screw on bowl that bleeds down the fuel in bowl. Does gas run out? Find out of fuel is not getting to carbs or if carbs are not feeding. Go from there. Sent from my SCH-R970 using Tapatalk
  3. Been missing a few weeks. Happy to see this topic at the top. Still: Sniper ftw Passion Racing ftw Sent from my SCH-R970 using Tapatalk
  4. Ditch it. No gains period. Check out the thread about POST YOUR SET UP. Tons of pages on different peoples bikes with all info on jetting. Find somebodys set up close to yours and start there. Then plug chop and rejet as needed. Good luck
  5. Theyre just hard on intake boots and will cause them to split and melt your motor down. Just keep an eye on it and look around for a stock cross over tube.

    need pipes

    Good guy ^^^^ Good luck!
  7. I guess stock lights? I have headlight covers for small trail tech or lazer star lights. Black with eyes.. Just cover shipping.
  8. Fuck around... You guys argued over the fuel. Then argued over who the "real" troll is. Now fighting over who has the most friends on a Banshee website? John you win. Game over? The end?
  9. I ate a ton of lead paint as a child. Can I get in on this?
  10. Meth. Its probably meth. And pretty sure he's banging it. A lot.
  11. I have a 64.5 or 65 cylinder. Just cant remember which side it is. PM if you dont find what youre looking for and I will go dig around.
  12. The wrist pin groove will be on an area of the cylinder that the skirt rides on. So it could rough up the skirt. The skirt hits 90% of the upper cylinder and the rings are now sliding on a grooved cylinder. ?
  13. Try to send him an email. That seems to be the best way to get in touch. Put your number in there if he dont have it.
  14. Why hasnt anybody answered the question about the gasket thickness? Jk sorry.. If people "wont see the cub cylinders" how are they going to see this stock head? None of this is going to work. Slow down and read more. Youve got the wrong idea with the spacer plate and need to read up on stroker cranks. Those SS cylinders are basically only good if you need to stay under a certain size for a particular CC class etc. Not for sleeper builds. There are some pretty trick stock cylinders out there. There were some for sale here recently
  15. I thought somewhere I read a piston number the OP put up that led me to believe it was a 64mm. You say it ran soooo great but its backing plugs out and melted down! Whats your overall set up? What pipes? WHAT CARBS AND JETS? Timing? Fuel? Compression before melt down? Make absolute sure you or the builder do a leakdown test on this motor after rebuild. Man you have so many variables, this may not be a.good motor to learn how to rebuild on. At the minimum, send it out and get it checked over and have that builder send it back with the new parts you need to put it back together. It wont cost much to send a crank and top end to somebody!
  16. Are those cub cylinders?? OP- You say the crank is stock stroke but the cases have been trenched for clearance??? More pics? And your spark plug wasnt "vibrating" loose. That is detonation and that is bad bad. Send that motor out to Redline, passion, fast or somebody to be rebuilt and tuned so it doesnt blow up again if youre not knowledgable on them.
  17. I was thinking the same thing. Since it's flat on bottom maybe you could tap an outlet on front and back. Awesome work!!
  18. Just fill the radiator. Dont put anything in the overflow tank..
  19. Losing compression??? How long does it run before puking water? Did you leave overflow empty? Try to burp any air out?
  20. Yes but did you put new head gskt on at rebuild and.use torque wrench? If not just replace it IMO
  21. How long does it run before it starts pushing water? If its pretty quick then its head gasket. Did you use a new head gasket or o-rings if its a cool head? When you fill it up just fill the radiator and dont put anything in the overflow tank. You may also have to burp some air out of it. Im betting sprinklerman is right since it just started after rebuild. Probably head gasket and compression is pressurizing the radiator.
  22. Ive heard of guys going up one main size with the extra timing. But like others said, if it was exactly on or a little lean the extra timing could push it over the edge. Not likely it sounds
  23. 75hp with 4 mil, stock cyl and stock carbs is impressive! What did the curve look like? Pic of run sheet maybe? Nice work..
  24. Too bad nobody has invented a device to go over your head and protect it but allowing you to somehow see through it. Maybe leave the area around your eyes open to see or something. HaNice bike. Also curious on dyno sheet.
