I have a set with black springs, like new off my 06.
  2. I had an RM Stator coil. It lasted about 6 rides. Junk. If you want top quality that won't leave you stranded, spend a little more and buy from sheerider1026.
  3. Haven't heard. He was smoking a fine looking brisket a few days back.
  4. We are a Ram Mount distributor. Go here and see if what you want is there. http://www.rammount.com/
  5. Is that the one the housing was leaking on that messed the camera up?
  6. I used a heli-coil on one of my head studs and it worked great. Just make sure you get the heli-coil far enough down in the threads so the stud is installed at the proper depth. This is especially critical if using acorn nuts.
  7. From one old fart to another, welcome!
  8. Anybody ever find any old bottles, indian artifacts, etc?
  9. Mine did the same thing, found out the axle was slightly bent. Changed the axle, haven't rode it yet to see if it helped.
  10. Back in my day, it was army boots junior, lol. Remember, they don't call me "Moses" around here for nothing.
  11. Haven't had a seconds problem with Gary's stator that I'm running.
  12. Please excuse the greasy finger smear on the axle.
  13. Ok, came up with a super easy way to install those aggravating locking rings in a matter of seconds. You will need a 2 foot piece of 1 1/4" PVC sch 40 pvc pipe and a rubber mallet. Go ahead and install everything, axle, sprocket, brake hub, and lock nut. Slip one or both locking rings on the axle. Next slip the pvc pipe over the axle, press it firmly against one of the locking clips and hit the end of the pvc pipe with the mallet. The locking clip will be instantly driven in place and the pvc pipe will not mar the finish. Then do the other side the same way.
  14. So, is the lock ring recessed in the washer? The diagram they sent with the axle sucks. I don't want to put it together wrong and have to tear all that crap apart again.
  15. Only one problem I see with it. It's a Ford.
  16. Which way does the indented washer face? Does the indention face the lock ring or the brake rotor?
