  1. What are my options above a 65.5mm bore. I have a great port job on these, but I've learned lessons with them as well and right now one side isnt smoking as much as the other so it's time for a compression test.. wiseco is the only trusted piston I know, but they only go over size above that to 66mm. I've been told that's the max. So what's the best option here? Aftermarkets that can be resleeved eventually but are big $$ or find a newer pair of stocks and have them reported, or have the ones I have sleeved (which I don't know how much I trust).
  2. Yea. Once I realised I had spark on both sides I took the carbs apart and cleaned the hell out of them. While I was in there I checked the reeds and the petal was broken. You nailed it.
  3. Winner!!! I bought some reeds used about a week ago. They blew apart 45 seconds into being installed. Thanks for the help folks!
  4. Man I know how it sounds, but like I said when I took the plug out and tried to see a spark I couldn't.. is there a different way to test?
  5. Tried 2 plugs. I'm almost positive I got no spark from the plug on the right side. I checked it a bunch of kicks and never really saw a spark, and I noticed the spark immediately when I tried other the other side. I'm not sure where to go next. I read somewhere that it could be carbs out of sync? I was about to sync them before this happened. Does anyone have a good recommendation on the best sync thread.. some of them are more confusing than helpful.. I have the sync tool
  6. Just stopped all of the sudden.. I switched the plug wire and still right cylinder no fire. I have compression in that cylinder. What do I need to check/do next?
  7. 100$ shipped? Are you including the boots from the air box to the carbs?
  8. I realize that this guy is about to get killed with DO YOUR RESEARCH.. and honestly, yall are prolly right, the threads are easily accessible.. but let me say this and jack his thread: Ive been reading alot of them over the last few days and I wonder, whats the best one, cause everyone keeps saying its so easy, but im still slightly confused.
  9. Your phone doesn't go flying out while you ride?
  10. Haha, love it! Thanks, I was getting nervous. I may or may not have been tapping the shafts with a hammer when those things let loose...
  11. I was splitting the cases today. When removing the shafts that the shift forks sit on I heard something hit the ground. What are these and where do they go.
