  1. I second the under the seat aluminum toolbox to fit behind pods. I carry them in a book bag now and it adds extra weight.
  2. I had Gary send my pipes directly to Performance Plating recommended by locogato11283. The price and quality were excellent. I ride in coal country PA in very dirty conditions and the finish has held up great. The Performance Plating finish is far superior to the chrome finish that comes on the Shearers. Again, money well spent.
  3. I have used Shearers and presently run Snipers on a 4mil ported Serval. I've never had it on the dyno, but in my opinion the Snipers pull harder out of the bottom and up the curve. On top both pipes feel about the same. I have had many other people ride my quad and all of them agree that the Snipers do pull harder. Again this is only my opinion and I don't have any hard data to back this up, but I don't regret spending the extra money to buy the Snipers, it was worth it.
  4. Thanks for everyones help, I did end up running it the way you had it in the first picture.
  5. Im running Snipers, Im going to try running it to the side the way you guys are running them. Thanks for your help and I will report back later on to let you know how I make out.
  6. I thought about doing it that way, but wasn't sure if it would interfere with the radiator. Will that work running front plastics, mine are not cut? Thanks
  7. I bought a Streamline Stabilizer for the second time. When trying to mount it with the piston facing towards the front, I can't get the bolt on the collar, that connects to the piston, to clear the bottom of the stock radiator when turning the wheel left. The first one I bought got bound up and I bent the end of the piston. I had the same issue the first time, but managed to make it work by grinding the bolt down and with some interference with the bottom of the radiator. According to the directions, they have it mounted similar, but the Banshee in the illustration has an aftermarket radiator, which appears to be shorter in height allowing that bolt to easily clear the bottom of the radiator. Are the aftermarket radiators shorter in height as the picture illustrates? I already did a search on steering stabilizers, but the pictures offered are not taken at an angle where I can tell.
  8. Does the Pro-mod trans include the Shift-Pro Kit? I already have the Mull Engineering Shift Detent Bearing set-up. If it does, is there anyway to exclude that part and drop the price on the rest of the trans. Thanks
  9. I'm probably going to go with the 8" heat wraps from FAST, but I'm always open to other options and in no hurry because I don't ride in the winter.
  10. Were you able to purchase a small amount at a reasonable price?
  11. Is the fire sleeve abrasive because I just got my pipes back from chrome?
  12. I'm afraid to do anything with them right now because I just got them back from chrome and they look so nice! Are those wraps waterproof? I usually wash my bike after each ride because of the dirty conditions.
  13. They are at a 20 degree angle and no pipe hangers.
  14. I recently bought a set of Snipers and have them mocked up on the bike. Im running Keihin 35s, UPP intakes, and K&N pods. One filter just clears and the other is touching the pipe. Anyone running these pipes have any suggestions on how to get them both to clear. I thought about getting exhaust wraps from Jeff at FAST, but don't want to do that yet. Thanks
