  1. Bump. Open to out one the left side also...
  2. Well that's great to know but I didn't make it out of ti... this is the very first arm I've ever made. I can machine ti but can't weld it.... but thank you for the info. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N915A using Tapatalk
  3. Either way I'd say it's pretty light for being a steel arm...
  4. From what I've read +14 ti arms are right about 7lbs.

  6. No I may very well be dumb lol. Just because you don't see it doesn't mean it can't be done. In every aspect and steel swing arm should never weigh the same as a ti arm but mine does. I like to make my own stuff especially when people say I or it can't be done. If I doesn't work then ok, but I tend to learn things the hard way...
  7. That's for the most part the pictures I'm coming up with. I'm trying to do a single top rail and haven't really found any out there. Was mainly looking for pics of full carbon bars and how they attached the wheel and top rail/ rails.
  8. To be completely honest, I have very little experience with ti. I can turn it but that's about the extent of what I can do with it. Plus from what I read aluminum isn't as strong but lighter than ti.
  9. Yeah I've got Mike on my facebook. Same places I was going to get all my stuff at. I know people don't want to give out how they do things or whatever. Just looking for some design ideas mainly. Pretty sure I've got the subframe all figured out just trying to figure out the wheelie bar but everyone keeps telling me not to do a full carbon bar. If I can't figure a good way to do a full carbon bar then I'll probably do the lowers aluminum.
  10. Kinda what I was guessing but it was worth a shot. Looks like I'm just rolling with my ideas. Wish me luck lol.
  11. Does anyone have any pics of carbon fiber wheelie bars or carbon fiber subframes? Trying to get some ideas. Any help would be appreciated.
