  1. Got it black&yellow Im trying to get them on the bars as I do a lot of night riding and it really helps to have them on the bars out in the dunes. I put the bracket in upside down but it looks dumb lol
  2. I'm trying to install the rigid industries universal atv mount. IN doing so I found out that the bracket hits the bars. I need to add washers between the clamps and bracket to raise it a bit and longer bolts. Anyone know what grade bolts I need? Or will any big box store hardware work? Am I doing this right? I don't have much experience messing with the bar clamps. Everything looks to be all stock on the shee. If anyone knows of a better way, please feel free to chime in also. The bracket has a .75" structural bend to keep it straight that I'd rather not cut unless absolutely necessary.
  3. @JT correct. Strm Trpr recommendations are +7 (+ or - 1 degree). From some quick research looks like 5-6 is a well rounded number.
  4. Thumbs up on the info @strm Trpr Back at it tomorrow morning. Will let you know how it turns out. Prog so far: https://www.dropbox.com/s/7hroqjn74zxj45w/IMG_9944.JPG?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/1ckalx0y5i4gvx2/IMG_0001.JPG?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/nm6d2bg3cofc7vx/IMG_9999.JPG?dl=0
  5. I just received their FR lt +2+1 (original style I guess). Roger did mention he's looking into an alternative to the bomb proof ball joint mounts as a cost alternative though. Not exactly sure what that means and information was provided without solicitation for what it's worth. Their fab and materials used are bad ass. Started to mount them last night. What a bitch without the fork spreader bar. Did one side. Elkas arriving next week. Having trouble figuring out which top arm is left or right though
  6. I always put a lock on the rear brake rotor and pull the seat off. With both wheels locked up it makes it difficult for people to simply push it anywhere. They'd need a few to carry it onto something or drag it somewhere. Also park it parallel and very close to your trailer. I always keep a rope near our trailer door. Wouldn't mind roping a thief around the neck and dragging his ass a few yards, in self defense of course.
  7. Thanks guys. Ran without it over the weekend at Pismo and all went well. Matt, you still make those battery boxes?
  8. Can I run quad safely without reservoir? I rigged a battery tray to run HID lights at night and cant make a bracket in time for the rez to fit both......? Need your thoughts guys.
  9. Hey Snop, where can I find snowmobile reg/rec? My friend would like me to convert his Shee so I need another one. Also I've noticed you make some sick battery trays, do you sell them?
  10. I have them as well and the response is noticeable.
  11. I've never heard of this...how do you go about doing it?
  12. Jeff, how much would it cost me to send you my stoke stroke motor and you +4 it and serval top end. I have cool head, don't know domes, stock carbs, 2-1plate KN filter, vforce 3 reeds and toomeys t5. Do you strongly recommend any upgrade/replacement of said parts. I also have HD clutch with pancake and timing plate.
  13. After you do, please post his response. I am also interested in the Serval.
  14. At the very least, you should do a good bleed down, after getting new hoses. My stock brakes work fine. I could never compare them to my CR250 but they will lock up and you will go over. The hoses get some of the spongy feeling out of the system with a shorter stroke, not that big but noticeable. Good luck.
  15. Take it apart again and make sure it's not welded and it's adjusted properly. I had a similar issue except my clutch would not engage because the stock adjuster got stripped.
