  1. I deleted some PMs, John so you can either try it again or feel free to call/text 608-214-1110.
  2. I couldn't even guess what the shipping costs would be to send a banshee across the world. And to be honest, (nothing against you) but I feel uncomfortable shipping a high dollar item like this to a different country. I got screwed out of $2000 worth of Diesel performance parts recently so I'm now in a "cover your ass" state of mind! lol And I REALLY don't feel comfortable shipping it to a 3rd world hole called Oregon where electric dirtbikes race around at 12mph.
  3. False.... the 5r110 will handle about 70hp more than an Allison 1000 of the same era. As for the new transmissions, if anyone is familiar with H&S performance and their live dyno session "BREAKING POINT" you'll see that the stock Ford 6r140 transmission "slipped" at 884rwhp and 1660ft/lbs where as the new Allison (also stock) slipped at 568rwhp. While this sample size is extremely small, its hard to argue that every other transmission is FAR behind an Allison when the Ford 6r140 held 316 hp more on the same dyno. However, the Allison 1000 has a big aftermarket support so they can be "built" bulletproof. Best advice I can give to anyone considering owning a diesel is the advice that was given to me... drive all three brands with different options and choose which truck YOU like the most. But make sure you have a little money left over because I've seen 1 ford, 1 gmc, and 1 dodge sitting next to each other in a 3 bay diesel performance shop all getting head gaskets at the same time. I should have snapped a picture.
  4. Its easy to get caught up in the power they all have to offer (all three brands) but fully expect and set aside some money for EXPENSIVE repairs. I learned very quick once I bought my diesel that they ALL break and they ALL cost a lot to fix when you start modifying or tuning them hot. If your sole purpose is work, any of the big three will do but be aware that even stock cummins are hard on the 48RE autos so I would advise a manual trans.
  5. I think this crank failure scenario is highly unlikely. If you had huge heavy pistons swinging around making large-motor horsepower spinning at a speed only drag ported cyls could produce.... then forged or billet cranks might fail. Unless the crank has a pre-existing condition causing it to fail, I highly doubt a 10mm serval will destroy one. Build it, ride it, and have fun!
  6. There ya go. You answered your own question. Until you run racing pistons and modifid stock pipes along with an aftermarket powerband you'll never even touch 150mph.
  7. I run a 421 serval. For what I ride it has a sweet "forgiving" powerband. The powerband comes on predictably and gently so I generally hook well. I was debating between the serval and a cub when I was in the market (I ride hair scrambles and technical stuff as well as open land f'n around). One factor I liked about the serval is I could always have a builder port it to stock cub port timings or any cub port job imaginable but I couldn't add metal to a cub to tame it down into a serval's powerband. A lot of guys run some wicked fast setups and Im sure I'd get spanked as my banshee isn't set up for drag racing.... however... I've not ever seen a cub cylinder amonst the groups I ride in. Its mostly shitty banshees and "monster" YFZs lol. And yes, the serval completely embarasses them in a heads up grudge race.
  8. Have you thought about a 10mm serval? You can always have it ported to ANY cub spec later on if you wish.
  9. Yes to the title. I haven't a clue what is reasonable for the bike minus engine. I'll have to do some research. PM me if you're serious. We might be able to work something out.
  10. Second option is to part out the +2 swingarm with honda style carrier, a-arms, shocks, all the other misc. stuff and keep the serval motor until I come across a TRX/YFZ450 chassis. Or go back to a stock length swinger and some long travel arms/shocks up front. But I've got way too many projects so I'll let the sale go a little longer before I get something up my bunghole and take on another project. lol
  11. It'll make more of a noticable difference on a modified motor. Stock cages with aftermarket petals is sufficient for a relatively stock machine. Porting is the next bang-for-buck step.
  12. Its a stock transmission that has been modified to shift smoother/more consistent.
