  1. I had the exact same issue. The problem is the gas. You need to use straight up 110 only. Mine would vibrate and spit the plugs out. As soon as I started using VP110 only the problem whet away. The issue is detonation or at least it was for me. I run a Cheetah 4Mil with 34 Pjs. email me if you have any questions I did a lot of research on this. ts3232@yahoo.com
  2. Where are you from? I go to el Golfo every chance I get.

  3. I am going to pirate this post as I have a simiar doubt. I have a Hemi Head with 20 CC domes from Pro Design. The original domes from Hemi came with an O ring on the dome at the top close to the spark plug neck. The Pro Design domes do not have the same O ring grove. Where do you install the o ring on the domes? Does anyone have a pic of the head where all the rings go? It would be great to eliminate any doubts. Thanks.
  4. For those of you you are interested the guys at American Muffler in Phoenix can repair you clogged radiator. Basically what they do is unsoder the top portion of the radiator. They use a small thin metal guide that goes into each one of the cooling lines and they remove any clogs. Once they unclog every line they soder the top portion back up and you are good to go. I called and they quoted me 20 to 50 bucks. Beats the $400 for a new one. This process was fairly common in cars in Mexico and is reliable. Thier number is 602-272-2247. Anyway I just thought I would pass this along to anyone who may need it.
  5. I got it from Vitos. The cylinders are Cheetah cubs and the port is whatever came with it althoug I think they advertise a race port. Pipes - CPI's Needle - DGK Pilot is a 55 Clip - 3rd Main was 168. The Impeller is about 1 year old so it has maybe 10 trips on it. Last time I checked it was when I installed the cub on it and the Crank which was about 6 months or so ago. It was fine. The bike was on for about 2 five minute intevrvals while I was testing it. The intervals were about 30 minutes apart. I was reving it up though.
  6. Well it sounded fine during tuning. It is just that it overheated. The bike was standing still though with no fan. Maybe I am fine at 155. I have a pair of 160. I will take those two just in case I need to change. The problem is that there is no way for me to really test it because it behaves completely different in sand vs payment and there is no real close place where I can test it. Thanks for the input. I was not sure if hestitation was a symtom of being to rich.
  7. I need help jetting a 421 Cub with 34 MM PJs on 109 50/50 with Pump 91. When I race I am experiencing hesitation when I shift from 3rd to 4th. The bike just pauses for a second or two and then it takes off. I was racing a Suzuki 450 at El Golfo up the "machorro" for any of you who know this place. Anyway he was a bike ahead of me. About have way I would shift to 4th and the bike whould hesitate or just kind of stayed the same and then it would go all out. By the time I got to the top the guy would be 2 to 3 bike lengths behinde me. My main was a 168. I spoke to the guys at D&M here in Phoenix and they told me that they use a 155 main for this set up. Installed them this weekend but the bike overheated while I was testing it standing still. Seemed to overheat to fast. Was my problem because I was to lean or to rich. It did not feel like a bogg. Should I go up to 172 instead of down? By the way the problem above was in sand with Paddles.
  8. What gas are you using. I am trying to re jet myine for VP109 50/50 with 91 pump. I still don't have the right setup. I went down from a 168 to a 155 because it was bogging down unless I reved it up high before I shifted. I was getting hestiation for a couple of secs when i shifted to 4th then It would run loose. Any thoughts.
  9. Put me down for one. I have been looking for one too and I agree, they are a rip off at 350 plus. I have never seen a used one at $300.
  10. $20 bucks says that a honda owner purchases this baby!!! hahahaha!
  11. 1. Check your air filters. Make sure they are clean. 2. I would recommend that you clean the carbs and I do not mean the outside. You may have a clogg. Note that if you shee was running fine before you should not need rejetting unless there is a significant change in temp. Also make sure one of the idle screws did not fall off of one of the carbs. Happened to me once. 3. Make sure your carbs are synced. 4. I would make sure that your gas mixure is correct. Drain the tank and add more fuel. You may loose a few bucks but you will be able to rule this out. 5. Make sure your gas hoses do not have an air leak or got bent. By the way make sure you also buy a good tool box. Shees are fun and fast but they require constant maintenance unlike 4 strokes. And yes guys I have a 4 mil with a cub that I race with VP 109.
  12. Make sure you check the wires coming into the key and the run switch. Make sure you dont have a problem in this area either.
  13. I guess I could pull a GE 10K trust airplane eninge from the shelf and bolt it on my shee and beat everyone, but then again what would be the fun. LOL
  14. I got mine from Verde Powersports. They have skulls in various colors. Graphics is all they do.
  15. It sucks that there are some aholes that do not respect the service you are doing over there. I would not even think to hit on a miliary wife of girlfried. It would seem that the minimum us non military men could do is respect that. Hope everything works out.
