After taking it apart it was obvious that my connecting rod gave out, it was split in half. Half still on the piston, and half on the crank. And thanks i'm real happy with how it turned out.
maybe if i had a herr jugs motor it would still be running!!! :biggrin: well my luck just got worse i got laid off at work because im hurt and i cant really work yet ( im a construction superintendent) and construction is really slow so this could not have happened at a worse time. .... anyways im parting out my bike for now everything must go! let me know if your interested. thanks guys
with a 4 mil what kind of power will i be pushing and will it be top end or low , all across the band, how will it affect driving conditions, trails, dunes , mtn, jetting, . . .sorry for all the questions, thanks guys.
so not only did i blow the motor in the banshee but the next day on my wifes quad i recked and fractured three vertabraes and tore the muscles and tendons in my hip.....not a good weekend!
i bought the bike with this motor already in it and he was'nt sure of all the specs. i do know k&t built it about four years ago. so i took it to them and he said he remembered the bike but not anything specific, he made it sound like he did mild motor work nothing too amazing. what i do know: cool head, reeds, 33?mm flatsides, cpi inframes,racing clutch and other non motor stuff, sorry i dont know more about it but i soon will. :cool:
