  1. Its running alot better with the lid on (The clips had come off) Im gona change the plugs and give it a go this weekend. I'll try and do a plug chop also....
  2. Took the bike for a ride on the weekend and it went ok, down low its a bit weaker but has great top end. Cleaned it yesterday and it took me ages to start again? Now im worried it is running lean... Im going to change the pulgs on it and see what happens, would be great if you could jump on it this weekend dirtydownunder and let me know what you think?
  3. Got it back late yesterday can't wait to ride it tomorrow! dirtydownunder: what are the main problems i need to watch out for, just incase they didn't tune it rite. I'll get all the details off them but they did say it has 260 mains now.
  4. Yeah flyin rd, if im there you will see my ute
  5. dirtydownunder : Thanks man, i mite drop you a PM if i have trouble tuning the new pipes. I'll let you know when im heading to lano next i'll be at the limestone quarry near carramar testing the bike this weekend.
  6. Coupelx: thanks mate They now don't have a full set of Toomeys in stock so im getting the FMF SST with PowerCore2 in the end. Should be ready on thursday for the weekend Now i gota get the tune rite test ride this weekend.
  7. Not planning on porting so i think i'll go for the Toomeys. I hope the Yamaha Dealer can tune it rite! Cheers,
  8. Guys, I have the shee booked in to get new pipes tomorrow but i have three sets to pick from: Toomey - TR6 FMF - Power Core2 Bills I want more high end power but don't want to loose much mid and low range, Would love to know which pipes you guys would go for... Chris
  9. Ok its all good now  Thanks for all the help guys I can always rellie on BansheeHQ! I put the plugs back to the normal spots then checked the fuel tank and lines, i had only put in around 2L just to start it and thought I might fill it to dilute any crap that might be in the tank from sitting around for ages. Kept kick in over a couple of times then they both fired up left it running for a while and restarted with both firing again! Just about to head out to the dunes now, Thanks again!
  10. Ok i tried what you said savage, used the other plug onto the other spark plugs and its still the same. Only somke from the right side :ermm: So it must have a spark but the over cylinder is not kicking over I can feel air coming out the exhaust thats not smoking?
  11. Hey Guys, Hopefully someone can post some links too other threads about this topic because i couldn't find any. Banshee is only running on one cylinder ATM, its hasn't been started in 3 months and i have just changed the spark plugs today. Going to see if the left side has a spark now but is there anything else i should look for? any ideas? Thanks
