  1. heres the start of mine, been this way for few months waiting for motor work...
  2. those are killer, just this week i was thinking to my self how to make a set (even to make a mold from them) making a mold of them is a good idea, that way you could make a bunch of sets for if they are ever damaged. like i said tho, they look good and plastic welding them should work like a dream.
  3. yeah i will be sure to get in touch with you about some stuff, i am trying to get the motor all finished up right now and running before i go to crazy. i just need to hear it start up again to get the juices flowing again
  4. i live my life a 1/4 of a mile at a time
  5. dude those are sick, that would look good on it
  6. i respect what you have to say and i knew i would get someone that said that, that being said it is not a u.s army theme at all and am not trying for it to be. grenade is a clothing line for gloves and snowboarders. i get what you mean about the patches, if i were doing just army i would have gotten just army stuff. i liked the colors and the print went well with the paint job.
  7. yeah i am trying to think of somewhere i can put one maybe one on each side for brake lights
  8. i have have one question for all you banshee gods out there... wheat can i do with those springs( to get away from the red) with out buying new shocks and all. i know they have those covers, but i was wondering if you can dye them a diff color. thanks in adv.
  9. here is alil update for the paint, i finished up the rear end paint wise today at work, enjoy.
  10. yeah i knew you did those grill before i started mine, i was gonna pm you about it. but then i figured i can get the alum from work for free and try it on my own, and if i fucked it up i would have been running to you to make me one. but yeah i will keep ya in mind next time i need something
  11. here is a lil update, since i work at an air plane paint shop we have huge ploter for making spray masks, or stickers. so this is a mock up of the paint layout for one of the back fenders.
  12. Thanks everyone for the comments. The grill I made myself, out of some thick alum and used a dremel to cut it out. Then just sanded and polished it out. As for the plastics I plan on spraying them a light tan color with some grenade logos on them or like army green with logos. I plan on using the ppg plastic prep them make, my paint rep showed me a plastic mixing cup using that to paint it, and I could get the paint to crack on it. Thanks again for all the kind words everyone, I will be sure to eep this updated.
  13. thanks guys, yeah i like the lil pockets too. i was even gonna do like those bullet holders on the back of the seat for to hold spark plugs but i decided against it in the end
  14. update with come pics of the rest of it, i just started the build. the paint on the frame and green is paint that i use at work for painting airplane props, so it should hold up real good. the grill is one of grenade gloves logos
  15. yeah it is a pocket, it isnt to really hold anything, more for looks. since i am going army type theme(army pants) and thank bonbon, it was kinda hard to do since i used a pair of xl army pants for the fabric. they didnt have any of the block type camo on a roll.
