  1. I understand. Really I do. So you aren't out much moving up to Hummer's junker. Makes sense but I would have loved to have that 87 in my stable.
  2. Here are some a arms that won't break the bank: http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?/topic/183389-lonestar-arms-pro-design-cool-head-flyweel-clutch-airbox-more/ Lots of stuff you need in the FS section and there is also a feedback section to know who to trust.
  3. A stock banshee chassis is junk. You need a arms, shocks, stem and bars just for starters. That right there is about your budget. Then take those stock cylinders and let someone reputable to port them for you, buy some VF4 reeds, either mill the head or buy a head that allows dome changes. Find some decent carbs and for pipes that depends on porting. You won't need to go all out on the motor at first, but later on you will. As stated, get the chassis "right" then worry about the motor.
  4. Came to this thread late.....but, I think I remember seeing this at Haspin Acres about 2 maybe 3 years ago on the strip. I think it was the Trike Fest weekend. TShee was with me. The guy was making passes on it but for some reason I remember this setup being alcohol and it had over ride. The paint and swinger look real familiar but this could be a different bike. I think he said he was going back to gas after all the work he had done to it. Could be a different bike though. The thing we saw screamed.
  5. I remember the ride. I no longer have the Shee, but I have a TRX450R now. What kind of kit did you use for the tors removal? Take pics of the carb area when you get a chance. I know some people don't evenly cut the idle bosses flat enough and if angled too much that too can cause a leak.
  6. It could be an air leak from the reed block gasket. Have you sprayed carb cleaner while running near the gasket? If it changes idle speed you have a leak there.
  7. I called dibs on the first answer...................but the quickest with the cash stole it from me.
  8. I loved it when they claim big numbers without pics of the engine.
  9. The internet is serious business. Please don't do that again. Oh, and welcome to BHQ.
  10. its for the powerband. Its actually the powerband mount spring.
  11. I should be able to make this. The trx is running pretty good now.
  12. Prepare wallet for rape. Counselors are standing by.
  13. If you are ever in doubt of a VIN number go to this website: http://www.vincheckpro.com/?act=vin&fc=7&utm_source=adw&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=vin-display&creativeid=g31291784205&group=adw-vin-check&network=d&site=www.atv-411.com&ran=666608772355504618&target=&aceid=&asl=[name]&pos=none&mob=&gclid=CPePnJjwhb8CFQEHaQodCn8Ajw This is the one I have used: https://www.nicb.org/theft_and_fraud_awareness/vincheck The second one is great if you suspect it's stolen. If it was an ATV that someone had a lien on and the party with the vested interest wanted it back due to default, a crime website like the NICB one won't necessarily have it listed, and that is a big problem nowadays. Research it and then decide how nice it is.
  14. I would be too skeered to ride that thing if its that fast. Fair price though for what I am seeing.
  15. A buddy of mine is running that on his CRF and says its the best clutch he has ever used for racing. I looked into those for my TRX but don't mind levers too much since all I do is trails.
  16. Just to break up the thread for a minute.................. Anyway, back to topic..........
