  1. Put them on the back burner for a few months. We are very very busy.
  2. They are not listed on ebay. Stuff happens and not everything works out perfectly. Trickedcarbine, remind me of how I convinced you that you screwed up something? You sure do seem to take every opportunity to badmouth our products on here. Now I remember, you are sure that we take pop cans press them together and make parts with that. You got me there! I try to make the ugliest stuff out there. If it works I try to break it as well. On top of that I charge at least 150% more than others. I have let many of your comments on here just go by but it seems you have nothing better to do.
  3. Lot's of progress. This is a big project and we are determined to do it right. Very soon!
  4. We may go down to 29mm carbs but will have to see. The air stryker fins are gonna be a bit different. The drawing we have here is the base we started with and we have been making changes/improvements from there.
  5. Not all the carbs will have the powerjet hole drilled but they will all have a starting point for drilling. We are using the bolt on cap for two reasons. The larger carbs won't use a stock cap and the problem I see with the cap is the rubber compresses so much you really can not keep your slide height equal each time you remove the cap. A gasket only compreses a couple thousand of an inch. The biggest reason for the bolt on cap is so the powerjets have all the clearance they need. Our powerjets will be a little taller than others but will be the best option by far.
  6. We are finalizing the designs right now. We will have slip in needle jets like Mikuni with all the various sizes available. That means you can tinker with the performance of the needle jet for cheap. We will have slip in needle valve assemblies ranging from 1.6 to 4.5 in size. They are from a Mikuni HSR carb. There will only be two bowl vents like the pwk not a quad vent. The quad vent has just two passages anyway. If needed or desired a y fitting can run two hoses making it the same as a quad vent in function. The base carbs are 35/39/44/48/54. All the base carbs can have a bore size smaller so all sizes in between can be had. We will start out with air stryker style fins on the intake of the bore. They are designed a bit different but for the same function. Of course we will have some without the fins for those who want. All carbs will have a spot center drilled for a powerjet straight down from the top. Carbs will be available with the hole drilled and tapped as well. All the tops will be bolt on not screwed on. All the slides will be chromed. There will be plenty of stock for those who want to put a powerjet in sideways. I will try to get more pics up Tuesday.
  7. I have not seen the plug but would love to see the pictures. I throw out pieces that even get a small blemish on them. Some parts I will sell at a discount with a small blemish. If you look through our feedback you will find that those blemishes could not even be found most of the time by the buyer. Anyway enough is enough. I did get a very respectful pm and he offered to show pics.
  8. Once again let me state that Lane and I are very good friends and have been for 15 years.
  9. We absolutely do not use scrap and there is not a plug in our superduty head. Unlike most manufacturers of banshee billet we use manifold grade aluminum and that simply is the best quality available. We use 6061 t6511 aluminum not not t6. T6511 is artificially aged which gives it the extra hardness which it naturally gets with age. If you take a pro design dome or head as well as others and stick a pointed object into the aluminum you will find it is much easier to remove material than on any of our parts. Maybe some people want soft aluminum over their bores but not me. Look at any of my parts and tell me that you think I make it out of scrap!!! Look at the quality of our finish and tell me that you can get that with using scrap or having plugs in the aluminum!!! Stuff like this pisses me right off and I do not get mad easy. I do not make up nonsense about my competitors so I don't expect customers to come on here and make up crap about my stuff. Opinions are fine but garbage like this is just infuriating. Now for driveline products I have nothing bad to say and only mention this because someone decided to bring Chariot into this thread. Lane at driveline is a very good friend of mine and hope he does well with any part he makes. Chariot is not the only place making products in this sport. If I have to share some of the market I would rather do it with a friend than someone I do not know. As far as defending Lane there is no need. He is a stand up guy and always will be. I can guarantee you that he does not use scrap either. Any person who says Lane copied Gigot is just out of the loop. People try to make enemies of friends because they don't know they are friends. Think about that a bit!! Back to our superduty head. It was stated that a few other issues needed to be sorted out but that also is not true. If this is the person I think it is they are a good customer and I hope to keep them as one but I have to respond to crap like this. If you are a friend of Lanes then you are not doing him any favor by bashing Chariot (me) in his thread. Anyone who knows me knows I am a stand up guy and everyone who knows Lane thinks the same of him.
  10. I have some really cool mods on tap for these carbs as well but we are gonna wait till they are ready to sell before we divulge those mods. The dump tube has some design attributes which those who want to tinker will love. These dump tubes will also be interchangeable with current pwk's.
  11. The 35 and 38 models will have screw on tops interchangeable with the pwk at least as they are drawn now. I may change that since I never liked the screw on tops. I always thought one was tighter than the other making my carbs out of sync. Now that I think about it I will change the drawings and make the smaller carb with a bolt on top as well. The slides will be either anodized or chromed. I don't know any reason why the chrome would be better, it is actually softer than anodizing. Chrome on aluminum is anyway because it is "soft chrome" by necessity.
  12. If you mean splash bog to be fuel sloshing past main jet causing air bubble in the fuel delivery then no this should not be an issue at all. We have designed the bowl etc with this in mind.
  13. We will likely have a right and left for the idle screw. I may have both holes but plug one, have not decided. We are gonna leave the thread in needle retainer just because we want to be able to use pwk parts as much as possible. This gives people an option to purchase just the main assembly from us and use their current pwk parts for a savings. Of course this will work only on our 35 and 38 mm models.
  14. Bowl nut is a bit larger and moved a bit so pilot and main can be changed through the hole. Keihin stock bowl or our oversize billet bowls we currently sell will also fit.
  15. We don't have pricing yet but they will be more reasonable than any other billet carb and not much more than cast carbs. Up to 40 mm carbs will have all components exchangeable with pwk. 44,48, and 54 carbs will have custom slides and needles. Dump tubes will be exchangeable with pwk and available by themselves. They are gonna be unique as well. Of course bores can be had in any size between 35 and 54. The fit and finish will be top notch. These are not blocks of aluminum with a bore and a few holes in them but they are carefully designed and SCULPTED with no extra mass where it is not needed. They will use pwk needles and jets. Our powerjets will not move on their own but will remain steady. Production in about 6 weeks. Probably 9 weeks for deliveries.
  16. We are very close to production on these carbs. We will have 35mm through 54mm. These are pics and video of our 48mm. We still have a few things to do but real soon. The powerjet is our design and will be hands down the best on the market. It will be a "clicker" of sorts but in the sweetest way. These are off a pwk platform but with slight improvements. The dump tube will be transferable to pwk's and it also has a little goodie hidden in it's design. Hidden for now anyway.
  17. We have three 3 piece stator covers with bearing supports and one 2 piece with slight chatter marks from one cutter in about 1/2" by 2" size. Perfect if you are wanting to get them polished or if you just want a deal. 3 piece is $250 and two piece is $225. First 4 pm's get them. No pictures but the marks are not that bad. Normal price is $45.00 more plus shipping. Jerry
  18. Stay with the stock cages. Duncan cages are worse than stock.
  19. Right after we started making super cub heads the Noss dome style changed. We made an additional cut on the following heads to accommodate the no step design. The head in this thread is at least three years old and one of the first 10 made. Our heads now fit with all Noss supercub domes. Jerry
