  1. As I stated earlier we will try to be as cheap as the best price out there which I believe is MODQUAD but even that is not "cheap". Competition by me will get the price where it needs to be or should be. If you look at all of our other products you will see that we undercut nobody. Our products have a higher cost in most every case but the quality and uniqueness is there. We supply everything needed for installs. All stainless fasteners and gaskets that use a higher quality material than even cometic, look it up. Genuine Mikuni boots. Where else do you get show quality chrome on aluminum atv parts? Now, do you see our clutch cover design as remotely similar to any other? Trust me I am not working for pennies but consider our heads if you want to consider cost. I could have charged $180. per hour for making banshee heads jus like pro design did for years or I could be at a very healthy shop rate and sell there. We will not be making billet cases but if we did they would retail for about $1200. We could make 5 covers at a time and have to charge much more or we could make an investment in our products like a good businessman would do and make 60 at a time. A little bit of inventory to consider but that gets the price down for the consumer and I make the same per cover. Who votes for me to make 5 covers? Who votes for me to make 60? Jerry
  2. The slingshot will fit as a 10 plate. You can pull his completely out with just the ring off our cover as well. Jerry
  3. Should be available in 3 weeks. You can pull the driveline performance through the cover. It measures 5.55" diameter and we have 5.57" opening at the tightest points. Those points are where the bolt tabs are milled into the cover that the outer ring fastens to. I don't know the diameter of a slingshot though. It will fit a 10 plate with driveline lock up and I am sure the slingshot as well. I just don't know about the outer diameter of the slingshot coming through the hole. Jerry
  4. We could put our name. Our logo is very detailed. We may try to get our logo on it as an option as well.
  5. Solid where lexan would be is an option we will have as well. Jerry
  6. I've got my guy prettying up the stock removal look under the water pump cover so a clear cover there will not reveal ugly. Definitely going with the clear water pump cover as an option. Colored coolant-very cool! My goal is to match the lowest price available on billet covers and machined finish I think that is $339. but may be a bit more because of the billet dip stick we have to make (stock won't work). Polished finish will likely add $75.00. For a design I am thinking just a Yamaha Fork logo etched into the waterpump cover down low. Logo as an option. Jerry
  7. We can not do the whole thing out of plastic but we do have a 3d printer. Too big for our printer though. The lexan cover for the water pump is a cool idea and doable. All plastic formed cover could be done. I don't know that we would do it but I can consider it. Great ideas and we will consider each one. thanks Jerry
  8. At some point they will be available in black anodized. Jerry
  9. Carbs are on the back burner for a bit more. We had 6 months one guy full time on the carbs and still would be 6 months more to have finished ones. We got too busy to finish but we will.
  10. J-Madd My father grew up in Piggott Arkansas. Every time we visit family there we eat at the catfish warf in Kennet. Jerry
  11. How many people do you guess don't use the kicker? As far as lighter than stock modded cover I don't think so. We can probably make it as light as though. Do you mean completely do away with the water pump? Jerry
  12. Plain with no design as in the pics will be an option for sure. There are a lot of people who like design options. Since this will be an expensive purchase for our customers we want some options for them. Jerry
  13. We can get the weight from the cad software but I want to wait till they are machined. The first one won't be machined tomorrow but we will start then. We don't know the price yet but they will be cheaper than the billet ones available now. Jerry
  14. We are interested input on designs to engrave on the inside of the lexan lens and designs on the water pump cover. If you have ideas please present them. On the lens and the water pump cover there will be design options. The water pump cover will also be available for using our ultra impeller. Jerry
  15. We are making chips on this billet cover starting in the morning. It will fit an 8 plate clutch with standard lockup or up to 10 plate clutch with Driveline Performance lock up. 10 plate standard can be used with an additional spacer under lens ring. It has improved water flow characteristics. We simply made the flow transitions smoother. It has a drain for the coolant built in. It is strong at the kickstarter and overall the lightest billet cover on the market. There is not extra material where it is not needed. Dipstick will come with it. You will not be able to use a stock dipstick because of the cosmetic design we made our own stick. You can remove clutch plates by only taking off the lens ring.
  16. They will work fine with the 8 plate setup. Jerry
  17. We do try to keep it tight for that reason but we had a run that was .004" to tight overall and that made it difficult to fit down easily. thanks Jerry
  18. We used a .1mm to small drill on the stud holes a couple years ago and that resulted in a tight fit. We used the correct size the next time though. All good now for sure. Jerry
