  1. Sorry was away on vacation and just returned today. Thanks Jason for posting the pics. Yes they still look exactly the same, maybe even cleaner as I cleaned them up a bit more. They are even still in the same box that you shipped them to me! Thanks again,
  2. just for clarification, its the pipes and silencers. complete package. Thanks,
  3. I have a set of slightly used toomey t6 pipes for sale that I bought and never put on. Price is $350 firm. Please email me at nycg14@aol.com with any questions. Located in Westchester, NY. Thanks,
  4. I am selling my completely stock, barely used 2002 Yamaha Banshee. Please see attached link for details. Thank you, http://newyork.craigslist.org/wch/mcy/807854671.html
  5. Thanks for the responses guys, all are very helpful. Im not sure which direction I am going to take this, but I will be ordering this week. I had another question about offset, do you guys run a different offset to get the tires out a little wider and make the bike more stable? Or is this overkill in trails where this can pose problems with fitting between trees and such. Thanks Rocco
  6. I have searched through the board and I have yet to come up with a definitive answer on this question. I do about 90% trail riding and I was wondering what wheel and tire size I should go with for both the front and rear. I am looking to have some decent clearance as rocks and stumps and such do come across my path, but at the same time I want something aggressive that I can slide out and provide the performance that I need. Im most likely going with some holeshot xc's or maxxis razr2's. I could really use the help here as I don
  7. Looking to get a little ride in on saturday since sunday isnt an option with mothers day. Let me know if anyone out there is interested as we are always looking for new people and places to ride. Rocco
  8. I am interested in the T6 exhaust you have for sale. Im willing to pay 350 for the set. Let me know. Rocco
  9. Thanks for the help guys, my buddy solved the problem today for me. The bolts that attach the plate to the upper part of the swing arm where too long and hitting the rear linkage when the shock was compressed. He installed a few washers and the problem was fixed. Never doubt Ada///M. Oter than this minor glitch, the skidplate is truely awesome and certainly a great buy. Rocco
  10. Well I cant see inside the plate to see if it is touching, so I am going to take it off tonight and see if there is any marks left by the dogbone and try to make some kind of adjustment so that it works. Rocco
  11. if they are still for sale, please call me at 914-447-2191 to discuss.
  12. I have purchased a 04 Banshee and I need a little help with somthing. This isnt my first 'Shee as I had one in 1999. That bike was all stock and I never had the time or money to any upgrades. This bike that I have now is a little different. When i purchased the bike I was told that it had Toomey T-5 pipes and silencers and had been jetted perfectly. The previous owner also stated that the engine was never opened and was completely stock. When I rode the bike for the first time it scared the shit out of me, but I thought nothing of it as it had been about 8 years since I did any riding. Well the first time out I had some formidalbe competition, along with other banshees, I was riding with a 700Raptor, honda 450r, and a kawi kfx450. At this particular location we had a nice straight dirt road that we used for drag racing. Now mind you I am a big guy weighing in a touch over 300lbs and i expected to get tourched. Well just the opposite happened. I continually beat every bike and nearly walked away in 3rd and forth gear on the 450s. Not to mention the other banshees that ahd the same work done as me. I am curious to know what is going on here. I am thinking that maybe this guy lied to me and this bike is bored out, polished or had the timing done. I know i shouldnt be beating all of these bikes this easily. I was wondering how I could tell if the timing has been changed. Beleive me I am not complaining here, but this is just too weird and I'd love to get to the bottom of it. Thanks Rocco
  13. I have just purchased the PRM swingarm skidplate for my 04 Banshee. It wasnt very difficult to put on but I am having a problem with it. The mounting points matched up and everything went smooth, but now as I push down on the grab bar to compress the rear shock, it seems as though something is catching. My best guess is that the shock linkage is rubbing on the inside of the skidplate, as this model provides coverage for the rear linkage. I was wondering if any of those out there that have the PRM may have encountered a problem similar to this. I have read hundreds of posts about this skidplate and I have yet to find one person with a complaint. Any help will do and I am hoping to get this resolved without having to call PRM and have them send me another one. Rocco Also I have considered that maybe this means something is wrong wiht the rear end of the bike or the linkage itself, but that may just be me going a little nutts
