  1. Is it ok to paint the stock radiator or will it effect the cooling? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Just to be clear an air leak will cause my motor to overheat within 10 minutes of hard riding and not perform any differently? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. So you have a answer? One thing at a time or should I do everything all at once? Mulitiple people said it could be a faulty oring so.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Took off the head. Inspected everything. Hard to tell but don't see any corrosion marks indicating leaking. Cleaned the heck out of the coolhead and Ordering oring set and put it back together and hopefully that fixes it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. All I know is it overheats now and it never did before. Impeller checks out ok and radiators seems fine Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I'm sure your right but My radiators full of fluid so I can't see how leaking a little fluid would cause it to overheat Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Nice thanks. And that will cause it to over heart? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. What causes it to pressurizes the coolant system? So if the orings became bad somehow over the years that can cause it to overheat? I'll have to get a leak down test than. Can I just spray starter fluid around it to see if it revs? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Riding for about 15 minutes and it starts to over heat. It leaks onto my pipes I'm not sure exactly where it's coming from. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. I'll try that. But wouldn't it run bad if it had an air leak? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Not at all its running great. Yea Ill order another o ring kit for the head than. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Re torque the head and see or just take it off? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. It's overheating. The engine gets super hot and boils over quick. My friend things it's a gasket but I've had my coolhead on for years and it ran good no problem. Unless it somehow the o ring wore out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Ok so my banshees overheating. And I thought for sure it was my impeller so I did this and it seems to be ok. Spins ok. Poured water through the radiator and it flowed though the hoses so it shouldn't be clogged. My jetting is pretty spot on and I've never had overheating problems even when I was racing it years ago Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Is this normal? It slightly rubs against the clutch cover but spins freely. The bearing seems to be fine when I spin it by hand. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
