compression test will not tell you if you have a bad seal!!! you will need to do a leak down test to find that out. do a search on here and you will find out all you need to know about leak down tests. hope this helps

i had a sled that sometimes did that. turned out to be a dissinigrated keyway in the magneto.

just saw one on flee bay. 355$ new powder, 9hours left

you wont need to split the cases, just pull the cyl. off and flush it out.

compression should be no less than about 110 lbs. 120 is pretty good for a stock head. kick until the guage doesnt go up anymore.

it will be compression our fuel. if your coil works both plugs are firing. what do your plugs like?
