  4. broke his truck and hasn't been riding the shee too much lately.

  5. There might be a small difference running no lid compared to vents. I prefer no lid. It does make a difference compared to having a lid. Also keeping the box helps keep mud and water off the filter. But if you don't run in mud or water, take it all off.
  6. IMO stock gearing is way too short. First gear is almost useless. I've been running 15/41 on my bike way back when all I had was pipes and reeds. My wife even runs +1 on the crank on her Blaster with just pipes. I mean pipe. lol.
  7. Pipes, reeds, and head (20cc or less). You can use pump with 20cc but 100ll avgas from your local airport is best and cheapest. With avgas you can even use 19cc domes. Traction is key!!! If you don't have good tires, and clutch, power is useless. Two of my friends have 700's, one stock and one with pipe, K&N, and the EFI mod. Honestly, they're no threat. With those mods, you can beat both. A 60 shot huh?? That's funny. Hope he's wearing Kevlar underwear. A 450 is of more concern then a 700. Have fun.
  8. Oh Burnt Mill Rd. OOOHHHHH ATCO GHOST!!!! SCARY!!!!!!!! Isn't that where you're supposed to go down that road at night, stop, turn off your headlights, and when you turn them back on you'll see the little dead ghost kid who got killed back there??
  9. I used to ride off of Jackson Rd. by the raceway. People get pissy around hunting season. Other then that you should be golden.
  10. I see you're only 6 miles via a pole line to Acto raceway. Ever head out there? There's trails and a few open areas out there. Went out there along time ago in a truck.
  11. What no bigger pics of your avatar???LOL

  12. I ride both. The 700 I ride has k&n, lid off, silencer out, fuel management (don't know what kind. I think Trinity). The 700 is a torque monster and likes to be shifted way early. Shifting early you can really feel the torque pull you ahead. I tried to shift up high and it's a dog. Definately would benefit with a +1 crank sprocket. It was weird for me, being used to a Banshee, to shift early. But by no means is it as fast as mine. As is, it might beat a piped Banshee, but it's nothing special otherwise. It will also hold it's own with a 450, but not a modded 450. That's my 2. Good luck.
  13. The tab was there. As I can remember, it's been a while since I checked on it as I usually do because I know it's a common problem. One of my friend's lost his runnin from the cops. Even better, the sprocket fell off in the middle of a stream. The cop found him kicking and screaming at his bike in the middle of the stream soaking wet. Ward pit is out by the 70/72 circle. Definately ordering 2 pairs of those parts. At least I didn't have to do the strap of shame through the pit in front of all the 450's out there. They don't like me out there cause I keep them in check. LOL. Naa they're cool. Everyone that saw me there asked if everything was cool or if they could help. Respect to all the riders out there who are down to lend a hand. And fuck all the pigs out there who use that against us.
  14. What a pain in the ass!!! It happened once before with a friend but we found his nut. So I screwed the nut back on, took one of his bolts from his plastics, Made a washer out of a beer can, and screwed the bolt with the beer washer on into one of the holes on the sprocket so the nut wouldn't back off. Rode the rest of the day like that. This time it happened to me... I was flying through Ward pit in Jersey. Bike was flying. The kind of 5/6 gear flying where the front end comes up with every little elevation change and now you're doing 70-80mph wheelies on sand. Feels great don't it? So anyway, I just shifted into sixth and was just about to top it out when it sounded like it went into neutral. I thought I might have bumped the shifter in between gears so I pulled in the clutch and let it out again and nothing. At first I thought I blew the trans. To make a long story (and the day) short, I grabbed a zip tie and zipped it as tight as i could over the threaded part and it held the sprocket on long enough to get back to the truck Pic:
