you can float the ground as well there are a few ways to do it
take the wire that goes from the stator to the rectifier plug that wire into the lt80 rectifier and take the other wire from the lt80 rectifier and run that to the positive batt post. ground the rect very good ground the battery very good to the frame and ground the motor very good to the chassis as well and you are good to go.
everytime the bike is running its charging the battery
works like a champ for me the lt80 rect is like 45-55 dollars.
Are you running lights if not you can use the lighting coil to charge a battery all you need is a suzuki lt80 rectifier
thats what i am doing to charge my 12volt battery for my nitrous solenoids on my drag bike
I have a 421 cheetah and love it I have the standard one piece head on mine and havent had the first problem except for the pv's hanging up I was thinking the springs but you need to run full synthetic oil or I might just get block off's not sure yet.
I have rdz sb if pipes and 39pwks and the bike just plain rips
blowit what kind of springs did you make softer or stiffer
I have a pv'ed 421 cheetah, sb rdz/shearer inframes, 39 pwks on gas and love it but you do have to keep the pv's clean or it wont act right. But the power is always there and builds so quickly compared to a cub.
Could possibly me an air leak
check your intake boots and reed cage area, base gaskets, head gaskets, and crank seal pull stator cover off and see if there is oil inside
I have both and really like both of mine.
The zilla has a different kind of power.
Its hard to explain but I still go for the shee first and I own a reg and a drag zilla.
just recently got my cheetah together here are the stats
421 cheetah pv motor )not cub)
blaster pistons
19cc domes
vforece 2's
+4 timing
nology coil and wires

Gas: C12 mixed 32:1 with techniplate
br8es plugs
elevation 600ft
Seems like its running out uptop
Never messed with a powervalve motor so not sure where to start
any kind of help will be appreciated
thanks
chris
Pull the stator cover off and make sure the crank doesnt have up and down play.
I love mine but I love my shees as well Im torn ha
good pick up i sit an 87 if so thats the best intake design you can fit your fist in it ha
get a good pipe you think it rips now
