  1. Well it seems there ARE some cheap Banshee billet ones out there as well. I haven't shopped for these in a long time. I still wonder why they are advertised as machine specific. Sent from my STV100-1 using Tapatalk
  2. Why are the used, beat up OEM Honda Thumb throttles the same as a brand new billet aftermarket Honda replacement throttle assembly?? I'm looking for one for my 421 Serval with 33 mm PWKs and debating just getting the aftermarket one if the pull is the same as OEM Honda. And why, if the Honda one works on Banshees, is the aftermarket "Banshee" thumb throttle double the price of the "Honda?"
  3. Not anything you could use. Only big pipes at this time. Sent from my STV100-1 using Tapatalk
  4. Timing curves. At the very least you can use this instead of a timing plate Sent from my STV100-1 using Tapatalk
  5. Shearer FTW. Sent from my STV100-1 using Tapatalk
  6. They all have that washer. Yours is missing. You may as well get one to go back in. Sent from my STV100-1 using Tapatalk
  7. I thought it was 421 1/2???? Sent from my STV100-1 using Tapatalk
  8. Beer thirty is almost here! Sent from my STV100-1 using Tapatalk
  9. Busy fucking day/week man. And still not over. I'm stressed and out of character. I really am sorry for saying GFYS though. That was uncalled for. Sent from my STV100-1 using Tapatalk
  10. It's not the fact that you were somewhat correct on the tire carcass (I still haven't seen a pic the OEM carcass that is stamped 22x11x8 but measures 24") but if you say it's the case then I believe you. Or if you say Skat Track just labels all of the 8" tires as such that's fine too. It's the belittling of me (and countless others here) that got under my skin. I'm wrong on shit all the damn time. Nothing about this shit is rocket science. MDR, my race team, is a motherfucking force to be reckoned with at the track. And when you imply, or just say flat out, say I don't have a clue....well I guess it's just dumb luck then. My apologies for questioning the great JT on how Skat Trak measures and labels their tires. Can I just paint 315 on my car tires? Will it make them wider? Sent from my STV100-1 using Tapatalk
  11. I am unfamiliar with what tires they use. If a tire is stamped by the OEM as a certain size it's mind boggling that it can be off 10 percent of it's claimed size. But...China junk says it all.....So I am NOT in the know regarding the apparent massive variability in the carcass size Skat Trak uses. I know I fought this when trying to buy some 78" roll out tires. I bought 2 sets (25x12x10 ??) that were advertised at 78" only to actually measure them (on the paddles like I always do) and they were 76" to 77"....and I already had a 76" set (measured on the paddles) and didn't even need another.
  12. Fair enough. I don't know what OEM tire they start with and after they buff it it changes anyway. It's all nomenclature then. If they want to call a 24" tire a 22" carcass then fine. Sloppy labeling and manufacturing for a tire to be off that much. Sent from my STV100-1 using Tapatalk
  13. Since this is directly pointed at me............besides the hand written measurement on the side nothing about a 76" circumference tire is 22" tall. I completely get that that tire can be stretched (or even shrunk) to a roll out outside of its original carcass size. We do this every fucking day with tires. You were just being an ass about it. It is not likely an off-the-shelf tire and the OP in that other thread would never find one of those. I was trying to point him to a 24" tire (it seems I really meant 25") to get the roll out he desired. So I concede that there are some higher roll out tires on that 22x11x8 carcass. But I did not appreciate the condescending manner in which you went about it. And I will continue to measure roll out including the paddles, because it works for me and apparently every single racer at the track. Your insult to me implies that everyone at the track is clueless. GFYS.
  14. I used to race!! And I'm not that good. I've placed in a lot of races over the years, but with my jockey we never go home with less than 6 to 12 plaques. Most are usually first place. If anyone wants a 300' race against my jockey be in Gilbert next week. If anyone wants to race me, I'll be drinking cold ones while trying to figure out how to measure my tires with no clues. I guess I can put 15 psi in a 22" tire then it will be 24". I bet that fucker would hook. Sent from my STV100-1 using Tapatalk
  15. A tire in a different size will vary a tiny amount from manufacturer to manufacturer in roll out. Not that much. I'll stay clueless. Sent from my STV100-1 using Tapatalk
  16. Then what the fuck does the 22" mean if it doesn't indicate the carcass size. 22" diameter is about 70" around. If adding a ripper to that makes it 76" then ok. But that tire in an extreme is 72" all day long. Pretty sure this OP is not looking for a ripper. Unless you have some odd wheel size. Sent from my STV100-1 using Tapatalk
  17. How do you make a 22" tire 76" RO? If you're adding longer paddles then whatever but the tire carcass will be the same as a normal 72" RO extreme. If I'm wrong on this I've been wrong on it for 10 years, and I'm ok with that. Sent from my STV100-1 using Tapatalk
  18. 22x11x8 is gonna be 72" roll out. You want a 24" tire if you want 76" roll out. Sent from my STV100-1 using Tapatalk
  19. For sure. Sent from my STV100-1 using Tapatalk
  20. I have a 514 CC Twister motor as well. It has the same stuff as the Cub but comes with intakes for stock style reeds or bigger (KX125????) ones. It may be missing the stator and flywheel. Probably has extra pistons also. Will let it go for $3500 Sent from my STV100-1 using Tapatalk
  21. I had 2 421s for the same price but I decided to keep them. Sent from my STV100-1 using Tapatalk
  22. The great thing about changing from a 22" tire to a 24" is that it is about a 1 tooth difference in the front sprocket to keep the same final ratio. So if you like to try different tires but you are happy with your gearing, just change the front sprocket 1 tooth. No need to change the rear. Also there's a better chance your chain will accept both gearing setups. EDIT: I see you run 20" tire, but my statement still stands true for those that have 22" and 24". 23. Really the only one I have for sale now is a 392 Cub. It has a 2-5 override, VF3s, billet basket, billet intakes, slingshot lockup. Sold motor. Ported by Jason Menz to be reliable but fast. It's $2000. Sent from my STV100-1 using Tapatalk
  24. That's cheaper than any of mine. Sent from my STV100-1 using Tapatalk
  25. You should start at 14/43 with that tire. Assuming average weight. Tune from there. Sent from my STV100-1 using Tapatalk
