  1. Yeah mine does that too, but because I was already bogging it down (becuase I was riding very slow) I didn't even notice I was only using the power from only one cylinder.
  2. Yeah thats what I would do if I had been the one that got it painted, but I have no reciepts or any kind of proof because the owner before me had it painted. The couple of patches are still pretty small, would stickers slow or stop the peeling?
  3. What the mechanic who did most of the the engine work on it told me was that the left side had stopped firing and after a while of it running on only one cylinder the unequal pressure on the crank bent/broke it sent the left piston into the cylinder wall and the piston broke when it hit. Then peices of either my piston or crank fell down into the tranny, tearing it up untill I stopped moving. The mechanic said if I had been riding at higher RPM's I would have noticed that the bike was only using one cylinder.
  4. My plastics were painted red and black by Troy Lee Designs a couple years before I got the bike, but now some places the gloss coat is just starting to peel away. I love the look and dont want to change to much about it. Is there any way I can stop the destruction before its too late!
  5. Three days after I got my new to me Banshee (87') a couple of old folks asked me if I wanted to go for a ride with them out in the Oregon Dunes where I live and I decided to go. After around 20 minutes of the most boring riding of my life I decided to go off on my own cause there idea of a fun day in the dunes included slow woop riding, but right when I made that choice my bike decided to have a shit fit and sieze up. I should have known that my Banshee wouldn't play well with that damn Polaris crap . The guys I was riding with thought I had gone off on my own, but instead I was stuck 3 or 4 miles from the parking lot and to make matters worse it started to rain. 4 1/2 hours of lifting the back end up and walking it 2 feet I got it back to my truck it the dark and rain I thought the worst was behind me, but someone had decided to take a brick and place it into my window and steal my stereo. Then I thought the worst was over because how could things go any lower...I pulled the engine apart the next morning and what was left of it fell into little pieces onto the ground. $1200 and 3 weeks later I decided I would never ride my Banshee slow ever again. Why did all of this happen, a fouled plug.
  6. If you look on Ebay you can find a mint one at around $100, or if your willing to take a chance you can get a deal at around $50-$75. Better than a rebuild.
