  1. Its been a few months since I was on the HQ, been out of town. I have a problem. The motor wont start. Ive rebuilt this motor a few times so I know it inside and out but am stumpped. I pulled the carbs apart, thier fine. The fuel filter is fine. Im am at 900ft above sea level. I have 128lbs if compression. 21cc domes. I get fuel to the bowls. If I put gas in the cylinder directly it will start for a second but then die. Its something that effecting both cylinders. Does anyone have any clues as to the problem on this.
  2. Im selling a 86 250r for 5500 but will trade for a mint 89-93 mustang, Im am keeping the shee tho. The 250r is very very modified. Have plentty of pics.
  3. I'm loking for a primary drive gear. If your not sure what this part is, its the gear that turns the clutch, the one that you see when you pull off the clutch cash cover. its attached to the end of the crank.
  4. For the second time I'm having problems with one cylinder not firing. My left side works fine and the right side just blows a shit load of smoke and theirs no power. I replaced the seal and it ran fine for about a little over 2 hours and then it slowly got shity. This is the same as the first time it happend. I kept thinking that it had to be the seal, but if it was would'nt I get tranny oil in both sides? They're only separated by a bearing, and if it can get pass a seal it would deffinatly get pass the bearing. All of my breather lines are ok too. Could my Cool Head be leaking? But if so why does it take 2 hours to happen? Once it happens its all over. I have to pull the entire motor apart, put it together and then it ok for a short while. My case are fine too, and I use yama Bond. this is getting to be a real head acke. Does anyone have any ideas on this or why its happening?
  5. Wheres a good place to get full bore plastics?
  6. I month ago I had been gettinf oil in my right side crank case. I was burning heavy smoke and it ran like ass. I replaced the seal and it rode fine for about 3-4 hours then again it started to do the same thing. I had my cases checked out and they are fine. When I replaced the seal I did notice that on the primary drive gear there was a small grove wore in to it. I can slightly feel it with my finger nail. Do you think that this is causing the problem? Any help on this would be nice because Im getting sick of pulling apart the motor.
  7. I have 21cc and run pump gas. Honing would be a good idea too if you have it apart. When ever I have a prob and its piston related I always hone it. Its good for the new set of pistons to go in to a shinny nice cylinder. Makes them happy, nothing like a happy shee.
  8. 4 years!!!!!! Holly crap, I get nervous after a few weeks. Im probably jusy parinoid though. I thought the TORS was at 1/8 when the probs happen. On mine latly when Im just sitting and if I wiggle or lightly hit the gas it die. Definatly the evil TORS. Did you try and disconnect it and ride? I'd try that. Thats just my 1 1/2 cents anyways.
  9. What plugs do you gays run? I have NGK BR9ES in right now and it runs very nice with these. I had the OEM plugs in for a while and I thought it ran like ass.
  10. IT DOESNT DO ANY GOOD TO CHECK THEM AT IDLE. yOU NEED TO READ YOUR PLUGS AT WOT KILL, 6TH GEAR IS THE BEST. FIND A PLACE TO RUN WOT THEN KILL IT WHILE WOT. TAKE YOUE 13/16 WRENCH OUT OF YOUE POCKET AND PULL THE PLUGS. DOING A PLUG CHOP IS TRUELY THE BEST WAY TO GET A CORRECT READING. OR TOSE A A OLD SET AND TAKE THEM BACK TO YOUR GARAGE TO LOOK AT THEM. LIKE REAS11 SAID, WE WHERE ALL THERE AT ONE TIME. GOOD LUCK AND GIVER HELL!
