Shearers vs CPI

Recommended Posts

There are two reasons Cam doesn't push Snipers more..

1. Availability. Gary only makes a dozen or so sets at a time and many times they're all spoken for before they're made.

2. Price. Most people want some sort of finish on them and by the time you buy the pipes and chrome, you're into them for almost $1,000.

That said, if you want the MOST performance, it's clear which are making more power and have a better curve doing it.

If he's not recommending them there must be a reason other than the 2 you listed.

He said stick to shearer for a reason.

I doubt it was time or money. That's not his problem.

You realize I talk to Cam almost every day right?

You realize I've been there and tested the pipes right?

You realize I have Snipers on my REDLINE 4mm Cub right?

I know more about this than you do, period.

Right. But if rajun called, comes back and says he's keeping shearer, well...

I would like to know why.

I'm keeping shearer because I don't have a $1000 to spend on a little extra power. He said snipers do make a little more up the face. That doesn't justify me buying because I can not put down even close to the power I have to the ground. Now if the pipes came on 1000 rpms sooner yet still pulled hard on top, I'd consider.

Cliffs: snipers make more power.

Okay. But I thought they came on sooner too? Just more aggressive?

That I don't know nor didn't ask.

I think controls 521 build is suppose to test snipers, shearer and custom LEDs

Edit* I'd assume sniper don't come on much earlier due to my motor was built for broad fun delivery.

Every port is different that's why you pipe to port, try different shit till u find what works best. With those durations I have a hard time believing it made as much power as it did , I was really surprised

Are u referencing to my post?
