  1. might be interested in the total package. what rider weight are the shocks set up for, and what kind of shape are they in? also, shipped to 23831. thanx
  2. thanx, its more of a comfort thing while its 95* outside in the blazing sun.
  3. yes we were, and I agree with about 99% of what is mentioned above. however, im not a fan of long pants. my father died on the race track.....he was wearing long pants. I know that wasn't the cause, but it did nothing for the broken leg that he had or the scrapes and sand dug into his skin when he finally came to a stop. im not gonna argue any point made above, they are all good valid ones, but the long pants thing is just something that I personally feel should be my choice.
  4. this will be a touchy subject for sure.when you say "skid resistant", are you referring to running on asphalt?
  5. I have the Clippard/Packard dual feed PJ's on my Lectrons, they have 6 full turns.
  6. you bike was running good sunday Troy. Brandon obviously did a good job on those cylinders. You going to Newtown satursay? I may not myself due to work schedual. either way, i'll see ya at the next Slades. that 450 class is getting faster there, so next season you may be needing a set of them cubs that you are hunting down at the track now, lol
  7. nice carbs. they work very well. I have seen them in use.
  8. the only performance part listed is the pipes. man, I wasted soooo much money on all that other stuff. what an idiot.
  9. I was told at the Yamaha dealer when I picked mine up, (keep in mind, this is their story, not mine) that the reason they do not come with a vin # is for two reasons. one being that Yamaha is selling a part, and not a titled motorized vehicle. two, it would make it too easy to make a stolen bike a legitimate unit. both make sense to me, is it the real reason, well that would be any ones guess.
  10. I bought one from a Yamaha dealer a couple years back, they come the same way from there as well, no papers or title. they have no VIN #'s on them. good price for a new frame in the crate. GLWS
  11. im not sure. but i think this motor sold the other day on E-bay.
  12. someone needs to scoop this up before i do. i've got two draggers now, dont need a 3rd. bump for a hard runner.
  13. would still like to see pics. you can pm them to me if you'd like.
  14. got pics of the damage to the cylinder? what size dome and what style of porting does it have? thanx.
